i love all animals and i never have gone on one of this in whatever country cause i dont want to support this stupid thing. i feel bad for the horses. tourist can do a lot of other stuff in whatever country for fun and just leave those horses alone. they wont stop if tourist keep using it.
thanks for the photo shoot. i cant stand to see animals abused. people that ride these carriges dont even realize the suffering that the horses go thru. i didn't know until i seen this. maby a little at a time we can wake up people and one day stop all the abuse.
this seems like a parody. Peta has done some amazing things to help better the lives of animals, but c'mon ppl... it's an ANIMAL! Animals should not live as good of a life as humans, or at least we shouldn't fight to have them live as good of a life as humans. This is the kinds of things that people make fun of peta for.
They should have the choice, it shouldn't be twatty humans who decide how good their lives are.. & judging by the shit job people are doing on earth, animals deserve a way better life than any human. I know that sounds like I'm from Green Peace or something, haha, I'm not, but you get what I mean!
@RichNation: I think it's unwise and misleading to present animals as--what? more ethical?--than people. First of all, there's a lot of cruelty in the animal kingdom (for example, chimps' practices of infanticide). But, more to your point, the fact is that humans are the only species advanced enough to screw up the environment. So I'm not sure it's fair to say animals DESERVE better lives.
@cdal783 In my opinion they do... The majority of crap they go through is human inflicted... Obviously there is cruelty in the animal kingdom, my point is human inerference.. What's natural about chucking a dog into boiling water then skinning it alive? What's natural about chopping off a gorilla's hand & selling it as an ashtray? ! I could go on.. Point is they go about their lives & we do terrible things to them. I hate us! They can't tell you how they feel so people assume it's ok..
@RichNation, What do you mean by 'natural'? Taking place in nature? Then trivially everything seems natural. Do you mean something like 'done with an interest of promoting one's bloodline'? This seems to me to be a good definition. But in that sense 'nature' isn't really all that great. Sure, some people are worse because they do things that have even less noble purposes-- Maybe they kill animals for spite or to look cool. But, then, many people are much better.

I love our natural world, what's left of it & hate the fact that we, the superior race are completely destroying it in a not so nice way.. It's a fact that many animals/lands are destroyed because of people. I feel a verse of Earth Song coming on, hee hee.. I see what you are saying too but this is how I feel personally
@RichNation well we do have to eat right? besides we are omnivores, and if someone made me choose to never eat meat again and be a vegetarian or vegan I would definitely jam a burger in that person's face.
