each member of the federal reserve is audited by independent private accounting firms, by the gao and by internal means, on a yearly basis; ron paul's bill (hr 1207) was an attempt to politicize the fed's monetary policy; isn't congress already to busy without adding an another burden and having them fight over the fed's monetary policy?
