do u have any idea what your talking about? the running man is were it looks like hes running.... and the shuffle is were he is putting his legs to the side....or the t-stomp as u put it.... the most common names for these two moves that ive seen is the running man and the shuffle...never heard of the t somp...also im pretty sure he knows what hes talking about more than you....he can actually do it for one....plus he has the most watched tutorials on you tube

the scratches comes from when your feet hit the ground, they don't stop immidietaly :P they slide for maybe 1-20mm (i don't know for sure, i just do it), it gives the scratch-sound

Yeah everytime you step down at an angle, your foot makes a scrapping sound, that's all but yeah.. it does slide a bit.. not much tho, mainly a hop ;P

I struggle to understand why the conformist shufflers interpret "legs higher" to stomp the fucking ground, accompanied by biting off handmovements that also did the mistake of "i think I should do tha omgahzz stompahz!".

Also, where did the term "softstyle" come from. It's actually the proper dance that they are reffering to, but why is it "softer"?

I know the answers, but I am expecting your opinions on theses issues.

I am only a 13 year old shuffler, but I have an insight on the intention.

@ignishun harder shuffling looks cooler to people that have never seen shuffling and dont understand it. i understand shuffling is just running man/ t-step and to be true shuffling it has to be interpreted with your own style through slides liquid variations of running/man t-step , but waht most new shufflers are doing is basic movements of shuffling" they arent really putting in their own personality much. I like shuffling hard because it pumps me up and thats it
