8500gt is designed for casual gamers and HD content, not the hardcore games like crysis

I confirm the 8500GT is not suitable for demanding gamers, it isn't bad at all but not particularly good ... I have taken last year and I will keep this card for a while because I don't play necessarily the latest games and I don't need to put the resolution and detail at high levels ... It depends on the needs of the owner :)

Aqui en estados unidos construyen targetas 8500 gt con un 1 g ddr2 son mas caras como 15 euros mas o 20 $ pero tienen mas desempeño me costo aproximadamente 70 $ o 39 euros muy buen precio :D

Aqui em real ela custou R$235,00.

Muito boa ela chegar ser melhor que a GF8600GT, batendo de kra com a GF8600GTS.

Kra é o seguinte, meu primeiro PC bacaninha foi o que eu fiz esse video com um Pentium D 2.8Ghz e uma GF 8500GT 256MB, o Segundo Pc que eu montei tinha um Athlon X2 4400+ 2.11GHz e uma HD 3650 512MB.

Depois que vendi o segundo PC eu montei o com o Phenom + a HD 4850, sendo que esse ultimo que montei vendi pra um amigo proximo de ksa a 1 ano e 3 meses e ate hoje o bixinhu e flz, mas vivi enxendo o meu saco pra instalar jogo pra ele!

é isso manu, qualquer coisa acompanha na GV.

No you probably can. it might lag during the cinematics, intros, during REALLY intense moments, and after loads. I would just grab an 8600GT. can run the game just fine with that setup and an 8600GT i bet.

I would assume that his CPU would bottleneck his GPU and make it slower than it already is, when I had my 8500GT I really only used it for battlefield 2.

well. got the pc and found the first problem in vista. it crashed at the installation so im running XP nof -_-''

still, in DX9 it looks great. pretty much everything is on low exept for the physics, shadows and textures.

when i run it at 800x600 it is possible to turn almost everything to high!

No Low ficou entre 26 a 30.

Mas numa 8600 fica muito melhor com certeza.!
