I praise the great group of German engineers that bless us with AMG products, not to mention that brute-powered 362hp V8 engine! why i like Mercedes: they use blunt-force trauma in all of their AMG cars, now the C63 with 441hp, Mercedes knows no limits and i think raw-power is the best way to go! this is a prime example.
This comment to me is senseless. "Brute force is the way to go". Really? I always thought, fast acceleration is the way to go because that's, well, the goal. Horsepower and torque are obviously primary components in the equation for acceleration but there are other factors as well (tight gear ratios, power to weight ratios, etc.). Would you rather have a 362 HP v8 that gets 0 to 100 km/hr in 4.8 seconds or a 330 hp v6 with tighter gear ratios that goes 0 to 100 in 4.4?

There is a difference between a powerful V8 engine THAT CAN HANDLE as opposed to the American muscle cars that can only go fast in a straight line. If you look the Olds 442 and did anything other then drive in a straight line, you would probably kill yourself, AMG vehicles CAN handle, thats my point. Your confusing Old American muscle V8's to German powered V8's and precise suspension and handling
@iamidiotic The stock rims and tires at the rear are 245/35-18", which is just too narrow for 367 bhp and 510 Nm!
The C63 can do the same thing, cause even though it has 457 bhp and 600 Nm, in only have 255/35-18 at the rear, which in terms of greatly increased power are even more undersized!
Btw: if they want get off fast the ESP/TC should be ON offcourse!
Notice: For some reason the official BHP level varies slightly from country to country! Therefore one should not correct if someone write +- 5-10 bhp different for ones own information!

Der C43 ist sicher ein nettes Fahrzeug, aber es ist bestimmt kein Sportwagen, wie Du es sagst. Fahre seslbst einen Wagen der knapp 400 PS hat, und auch der ist kein Sportwagen. Der c43 schafft den Sport von 0-100 wenn er gut läuft in 6 sek. da musst du Dich heute schon vor jedem 335d in acht nehmen (der ist nur unerheblich langsamer bei mehr Nm)

Wir wissen nicht wie lange es noch so weitergehen soll, mit den Spritpreisen etc. Bis nächstes Jahr wird der Super wahrscheinlich 1.80 kosten!!!! Merkt euch eins: die Autofahrer in Deutschland, werden auf brutalste weise abgezockt, und es wird noch schlimmer!!!

Hab ich auch immer gedacht. Bis ich vor 2 Jahren in einem Autohaus angefangen hab zu arbeiten. Da bekommt man die tollsten Sachen mit. Aber du weißt sicher besser als jeder andere ob du es dir leisten kannst oder nicht.
Kann ich mir vorstellen, dass man so einiges mitbekommt. Sicherlich weiß jeder am besten, ob man sich solch ein Gefährt locker leisten kann, oder nicht. Heisst ja nicht: Teures Auto = Alles teuer. Kommt drauf an, welche Versicherung, kriegt man Prozente etc etc. Trotzdem ist der C55 ein klasse Auto.
it never made sense to me, why the hell the traction turns on ever time you floor a benz? i mean i know its because of tire spin but why dont they turn that shit off before 20 mph you dont even need traction at that speed... and since it doesnt spin after 20 anyways

Du kannst dein ESP ganz ausschalten,
indem du in das service menü gehst und
dann kannst du das Rollentest einschalten, denn z.B musst du bei einem rollentest das esp system komplett aussgeschaltet sein. Das kannste du dann machen, dann haste auch mehr spass.
