I have an addictive personality and i'm diagnosed with a mild case of Asperger's Syndrome. I can't get addicted to cigarettes my first try. i had no interest in learning anything at school and regulary got shit for it. i started smoking weed around 19/20 and almost instantly developed a real thirst for learning and understanding. when im self motivated i could learn more in a week than i would have learned in a school year. aswell as that i can go for up to 2/3 years without ever being ill and on the rare occasion i get a cold or flu, it's completly gone within 48 hours. also i never use pharmaceuticals

There is another benifit to our society from the legalization of marijuana...money. How many people are in prison because of marijuana? How much tax money is being spent to care for them? How much money is being spent on the "war on drugs" effort while there are far more serious crimes going unpunished?! In a time of economic recession and national debt, it would make sense to legalize. The money gained by not only fewer prisoners in our jails but the taxes collected on marijuana sales would....

Well, I know of too many people that get black out drunk, but I do know many people that smoke cannabis and drink alcohol in moderation. However, if legalized, then people would know what the cannabinoid ratio was with all of the labels. i had no interest in learning anything at school and regulary got shit for it. i started smoking weed around 19/20 and almost instantly developed a real thirst for learning and understanding. when im self motivated i could learn more in a week than i would have learned in a school year. aswell as that i can go for up to 2/3 years without ever being ill and on the rare occasion i get a cold or flu, it's completly gone within 48 hours. also i never use pharmaceuticals

There is another benifit to our society from the legalization of marijuana...money. How many people are in prison because of marijuana? How much tax money is being spent to care for them? How much money is being spent on the "war on drugs" effort while there are far more serious crimes going unpunished?! In a time of economic recession and national debt, it would make sense to legalize. The money gained by not only fewer prisoners in our jails but the taxes collected on marijuana sales would....

I mean if we all let everyone do anything they wanted then it'd be chaos. Example graffiting the walls is not gonna kill anyone, i can claim that it creates jobs and it stimulates my creativity. So should we allow people to go graffiti your house and car and your clothes??

Well, I know of too many people that get black out drunk, but I do know many people that smoke cannabis and drink alcohol in moderation. Smoking cannabis in one's own household does not infringe upon the rights of another anymore so than drinking alcohol in your home. Not to mention, cannabis has many medical applications that provides benefits for the sick and afflicted. Don't leave the patient on the battlefield!

Ever hear of drug use propensity and risk taking behaviors? Well, legalize it for industrial and medicinal purposes, since the pros outweigh the cons. @TheBadAssKiller According to the Neuropsychopharmacology Journal 2010, the THC(memory-impairing cannabinoid) levels have risen due to excessive crossbreeding of different types of cannabis. However, if legalized, then people would know what the cannabinoid ratio was with all of the labels. Actually, it would be easier to legalize it to allow professionals, with licenses, to crossbreed our marijuana to have higher CBD levels to counteract the negative memory-impairng effects of THC.

THEN, you said smoking marijuana if you also smoke cigarettes somehow cuts your chances of lung cancer in half. Completely stupid!!! Untrue to the most extremes possible. Decriminalization is our best bet, because Portugal's decriminalization was a success, according to the British Journal of Criminology 2010. Well, it makes sense that it was successful, since they didn't commercialize the use of marijuana, unlike the Netherlands.
Commercialization led to a significant increase of pot use in the Netherlands, and use went down after commercialization was reduced - Addictive Behaviors 2010

@zekdom that last statement is just another way of saying it can stop cancer(or at least helping preventing it), in society facts are shrouded by oversimplifying words(an example is slang) which in turn creates a whole new meaning than that of which the word or phrase has stemmed from....now i dont know about cutting the risk in half but then again it depends on the person and body type

Without the cannabinoids, marijuana really would be more carcinogenic than tobacco smoke.
