  • @MsAKSfan. They brought attention to how the American Natives were treated in their own country. They did a good job. Tv channels all over the world followed the action for weeks. Those guys are heros in my opinion. They made the whole world side with them. I do hope there will come a day with justice for the Native American.

  • @MsAKSfan I really got moved by what you say about having had to search for your culture. It brought tears to my eyes. In the early seventies some NA occupied Alcatraz as they refered to an agreement between the US government and the NA, saying that land that no longer was used by the state was to go back to the original owners; the indians. In My country, Sweden, the action meat with great interest and sympathies. The purpose of the action was to bring attention to how the American Indians we

  • "maybe the white people were the savages"? Duhh...

  • "maybe the white people were the savages"? Duhh...

  • If it was up to me I would have left him wanting his one more night. Its gotta be a damn shame that you and your wife have so much distant that you gotta beg to have sex. Pathetic ass Man.

  • Where can I buy this DVD from?

  • @hotaruodori-you can get it at ioffer

    i got mines from boxofficevideoelite

  • I wish they had left the Bible out of it. There she is holding a Bible and committing adultery. I don't care how hot the guy was (and he was hot!) She's just as much a hypocrite as televangelists who have give a religious appearance and do something altogether different.

  • @absolute52347-yea i am not sure what the Bible has to do with this either. and i totally agree with you BUT i have to make an exception for this story cuz i'm not a believer in arranged marriages. sometimes people do things that God does not intend to happen. i think arranged marriages pushes it. but hey thats just my belief.

  • This movie was "loosely" based on fact........

It didn't have a happy ending in real life....but who wants to see a movie with a sad (bad) ending anyway?

Anna had a son with by her Indian husband AFTER she was rescued..her marriage to Daniel crumbled....she made numerous attempts to go BACK to her Indian family....whole thing was a mess. I liked the MOVIE version much better.

May they ALL .......rest in Peace....(the real characters portrayed by this film).

  • @hrsngarnd well i did like how they portrayed custard. he was an arrogant murdering maniac. he killed peaceful Indians for the fun of it and called it justice. but i have read several accounts of white women captives and they did say that their Indian families treated them better than their white families and they wanted nothing more than to stay with them and many who were brought back died pinning for their Indian families.

  • @GummiBands-actually in the movie there was a part where it was sorta revealed that he was a murderer but its sorta under the radar. a lot of his maniac killings happened after 1868 (yes i researched lol).

  • @hrsngarnd how do you find the real story? so she did not go back? what happen to the son> tryto look the chature up but found no info

  • @IRISH123ist try this search "Delphos, Kansas-Our History". It talks about Anna, Sarah and some other local incidents that are interesting.

I've been in Kansas for over 20 years....was surprised to discover Kansas has quite a "violent past". :(

  • any similar movies to this?

  • @hellkat008 Yes Hun!! The Cheyenne Warrior and Gunsmoke:The Last Apache are on the same sort of storyline to this....hope that helps x x x

  • @WELSHGIRL76-and also uhm....geez i forgot the name i gotta look in my fav vids. the one where the indian tried to live like the white but wasnt excepted cuz he fell in luv with a white girl. they ended up having a child but he was killed in the end.

  • @WELSHGIRL76 -children of the dust!!! just remembered! hahaha!

  • @terrelya83 YES!! thats a good one too, love the clips to it...Billy Wirth is HOT!! lol x

  • bravo!!!

  • Hi Charlotte!

Thanks for posting excerpts for us to watch! Love this movie!

Have any idea if it is available on DVD anywhere?

    Does anyone know?

    Thanks! :)

    Deb

  • The only reason why Natives took women was when they lost many children or men to sickness and battle. They didn't go out often and just capture white women.

  • thank from this video :-)

  • @zx2012

It's a case of wot goes around comes around....maybe the 'white people' were the savages!!...maybe the native americans were just retaliating to wot was done to them first!

And if you see the clip 'Stolen Women,Captured Hearts Part 1' you will see it clearly states 'BASED' on a true story....

  • i'm starting to think that ppl don't understand the meaning of BASED on a true story. really it's like seeing a red cat on the tv and no matter what.....you think it's a blue dog just cuz history, a book, or someone said so. geez....smh

  • @pksgigi

Read wot i wrote again!!!!.......I said it states at the beginning of the movie 'BASED' on a true story not a TRUE story...they've taken facts from history n used SOME of them to make a movie. They obviously dramatised it to a point for ratings too!!!!!

But at the end of the day it's a really good movie!!!!! End of!!!!!

  • @WELSHGIRL76

Hahahaa AGAIN! Didn't I tell you a couple weeks ago that I'm starting to think people don't understand what BASED ON A TRUE STORY is. smh This is comedy. Damn I wish this was a true story tho.....FOR ME! lol

  • @WELSHGIRL76 wot?

  • @WELSHGIRL76 there are lots of recorded history of captive white women who would not leave their Indian husbands... we just don't get much of that history... LOL it wasn't all love and bliss, but sometimes it was... I think when she stretched that shirt across his shoulders, she was done for! LOL it was just a matter of time... I would have gone for it right then! LOL

  • @MsAKSfan He is sooo fit...I wudda gone back to him too lol..yep defo agree with you bout lots of recorded history..I read quite a bit..some good..some bad..but I do think the way the whites treated the Indians made the Indians retaliate..at first they helped the settlers but the whites just shit on them and stole from them so you can't blame them for in the end fighting back. The Indians were called savage..but I think what the whites did was more savage tbh :)) xx

  • @WELSHGIRL76 That is pretty much the way of it. But since I am half white, I try to remember that I hate the actions of those ones... not the culture completely. It was just so ignorant and greedy of them. It makes no sense. My culture was stolen from me, I had to dig deep to find it... then I found myself. For that I do hold hard feelings! thanks for your kind words... ;)

  • @MsAKSfan Awwww no probs hun :)) xx

  • so are you hun. your living in a dream world that everyone is supposed to think like you. nobody really cares about what you have to say. history is history. a lotta shit happened back then. if ur really gonna spend the rest of your life trying to convince the whole negative in ppl well then thats too bad. again, we really don't give a damn. so keep whining and crying like a baby. wah wah wah just keep talking shit so that we can keep making ur comments disappear. ur not gonna convince anybody.

  • @zx2012

I'm tellin you right now ur wasting your time trying to "educate" us on the "truth". This movie is BASED on a true story. It didn't say it was the whole truth. If you actually look it up, some women were abducted, had chances to go home and didn't. I'll give you some names. Research Mary Jemison and Cynthia Ann Parker. Knock yourself out. And like Petra said, it's a movie.....

  • Ha!!!

yea BASED on a true story. no YOU look a little bit deeper since you care so damn much. of course they were torturing them. i just love how ppl wanna complain about what natives have done to whites without realizing that whites did the same to natives and blacks. smh

anywho its a movie. like i said ur wasting your time. everyone is just gonna keep giving your comments a thumbs down until ur dumbness will disappear. so see ya!

  • @zx2012: that's why this is called a movie. Get real.

  • What about Cynthia Ann Parker????

She was abducted n grew up wiv Native Americans n she 'turned out like that'.she married one too!!!!

Obviously there was good people n bad people in that era....but then again there is good people n bad people in our times too!!

  • @zx2012 I don't know where you are getting your information but you are so wrong. That is rumors and bullshit. You want to know the truth read Indians and Emigrants by Michael Tate. Read before you speak.

  • Ew....I'd leave him for Tokalah anyday.

  • @GaarasTrueFriend Me too.

  • It would be nice tho if this movie actually ended kinda like them in the village, married and little Tokalahs running around. I kinda like endings like that. But I'll take this ending too! LoL

  • yay!!!! the ending was posted!! good job charlotte!!!

  • love that you've added more clips...love the fact that in the end love conqours all x

  • I need a good vision, right about now....lol

  • Thank you for this video!!! I am Spanish and do not achieve this movie that I am charmed with in any site ... - you have more videos??? PLEASE!!!

  • Best piece of advice she could ever give.
