  • 1:41 fourth person in--the lady; i have one thing to say to you: hi! :D

  • If I were to make a top 5 list of my favorite CB&TM songs, "Go Lassie" would be on the list.

  • @beepollen1 yes and no, the tune is a scottish one, the modern lyrics are Irish based on the original scottish lyrics written 300 years ago. A bit like danny boy an irish song with lyrics written by an english man so really is that tune Irish or English? However the tune here is more scottish trad than irish

  • r.I.P The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem You Men were some of the best Irish Singers ever I hope You Are All united in heaven forever.

  • love the sound of paddy's harmonica and john sheahans whistle

  • Probably why this version dosent have as many hits/views

  • Dont like the way that liam clancy calls out the words of the song before they are sung near the end of the song. Like that annoying person finishing ur sentences for u before you can say them.

  • Laddie, do you have something against audience participation? That's all he's trying to do; to help people get involved.

  • My God!! I totally missed John Sheahan and Barney McKenna playing along! I'm so used to Tommy Makem playing the whistle that I never looked. Oh what a great treat!!
