  • loved this piece! where do you get the music for it?

  • Thank you. I had this music mailed to me a little while back but it maybe online somewhere. Some times I find if you google the title of a tune and search it as an image, it can bring up the tablature. Thanks for viewing. Hec.

  • Flatworld is on the Blowzabella album Vanilla.

  • Nice playing. Pity about the hat ;-)

  • Very well played!! What is your accordion tuned in?? GC??

  • Yes. GC Busilacchio (Diatonic Accordion). Thank you.

  • Great video thank you for sharing!:-)

  • Thank you. I am pleased you enjoyed it. Hec.

  • Beautiful song! Again the melody is gorgeous. :)

    Monica

  • Keep an eye out as the next one to be uploaded is this video re-filmed.

  • Delightful, Hector!! I enjoy this tune and your expressiveness very much!

    Lorna

  • Oh hello Lorna. Yeah I hope to re-do this video. Have a slightly different version that I hope to play and upload. Thanks for your kind words.

  • @HectorAwol Have you heard the Blowzabella medley of In a Continental Mood, The Old Queen and Flatworld? It's great! I recorded the first two songs last year, and hope to record Flatworld on my Roland. Such happy music!

  • Hello Lorna. I have heard the name of Blowzabella and think I have the music for it. Seen the name. This video here you have commented on is my version of Flatworld but I hope to re-film it as I have newer music that has slight variation. Havnt heard of Old Queen. How do I get a copy? Thanks for viewing. Hec.

  • @accordiona Blowzabella is not french, they are english...

  • Hector, nice playing mate - I love that tune

  • Lovely :-)

  • this waltz is neither French neither from Israel ..

It's called "Flatworld" and was composed by Andy Cutting (who is english).

I like the way you play it , putting a deep stress on the strong beat

  • Oh ok, that is interesting. I will change the details. Let me know if the amendments sound ok to you. Thanks for the feedback. Hector.

  • @HectorAwol

As for me, I'm a bit more accustomed to a way of playing sounding slightly lighter, but , you know, everybody has his own sensibility ?

By the way .. Where did you find the name you gave to it ("valse d'amour") ?

  • Very nice, Harry Potter, oops, I mean Heccy.!!!!---lol

  • Yeah, I get quite amused every time someone says I look like Harry Potter. I am more musical than I am magical. How have you been anway?

  • @HectorAwol I have been fairly well, thanks, Hector. I am still enjoying sitting out in the summer sunshine, but the leaves are starting to change color, so I guess that means Fall and Winter are on their way.

Oh, well, I take one day at a time.

    Take care, Heccy.

    :)

  • Very nice.... BTW - you look a bit like Harry Potter in this video :)

  • Ha... yeah I've been told that before. I'm happy you enjoyed the music. Hector.
