I get burned-out on shit ultra-quickly.... and I couldn't get enough of hearing this song.... and here I am.... so, I obviously STILL can't get enough of hearing it.

his guitar is tuned down a full step to D so basically tune your guitar down and have a listen. working it out by ear is much more beneficial than tabs

@Fluffypopcicle Funny.... I don't think I would ever have made such an odd connection. Although... maybe you're referring to Mastodon's Crack The Skye (dedicated to Brann's sister...), but either way, I think they would have VERY struggling tempos. BUT.... I can see the correlation regarding the offhand key changes, and strange (but so beautiful) harmonies.

Maybe they'll do a 'joint' something someday...?

That would be pretty sick. If you mean very struggling tempos as in they have different styles when it comes to tempos, I don't think Buckethead would have trouble adjusting. He fits well in almost any musical scenario I could think to put him in.

They're like 'the point' at that moment, ya know? But, surely BH could fill in 'the blanks'... if there be such things in Mastodon songs. It would be sick, for sure!

@1716frank Don't hold me to it, but I'm pretty sure it's the usual drum machine. Whatever program buck uses can get a wide variety of sounds. Just listen to the almost 311 drum sound on some "Albino Slug". Not to mention the sounds on the "holiday LE" .

@chemoman1 I viewed the source code of the page where the song was and saw it said "crack-the-sky.mp3 so I then typed in bucketheadland com/crack-the-sky.mp3 and that was the direct link to the song! I then posted the link on a forum, right clicked it and clicked "save link as..." and saved it as an mp3.
