  • Hey nice video I'm getting a 2007 Legacy today hopefully... its not the GT but i wanted to know if you can add an exhaust like that on it?? If so could someone point me in a direction? I want a nice rumble to it!!

  • @Vtang01 you're probably not going to be able to get a rumble from a base Legacy. The 2.5i model has EL (equal length) headers, while the GT models have UEL (Unequal length) headers, which sets the sound apart and gives it the rumble.

  • @Vtang01 i just bri=ought home an 08 yesterday, they are awesome, this is my first AWD car.

  • There was a VERY slight difference in sound. It opened the exhaust up more causing the engine to be slighty louder.. but you still can't hear the boxer rumble at idle... and just the slightest bit at wideopen throttle.

If you're on a budget, you can just get an uppipe, downpipe, and modify your stock mufflers.

  • did you install all your exhaust mods at the same time? how does this sound with just the catback and stock up/down?

  • I don't know, I installed the catless up/down about 2 years go lol.

I just installed the Cat-Back a few months ago.

  • Crucial Racing...

  • is it much louder in person, my buddy has a str8 piped forester (n/a) that sounds really loud in person but on video its kinda quiet.

I know the turbo helps a little as far as silencing, but not too much

  • yea it's pretty loud in person, especially when the windows are down

  • NICE!! Wish I had a Subaru. Well my dad does but he ain't going to do anything to it. It is a '05 Outback XT.
