There are some bands that use barre chords, but most of them use power chords whcih really arn't chords...they're diads.

i don,t like the RG120, it douzent have that heavy metal sound im looking for it haz a sound that i don,t like im a beginner and i don,t know wich electric guitar to get or guitar pack to get, i need help my music is metal i need somethin $250 or down

You could always just get this guitar and change the pickups. It really is a great guitar, so ignore it lol.

The RG120 is a great guitar (especially for the price), but there are better Ibanezs available. The Spider III series is good, but only for a practice amp.
