  • Thank you Jim.

  • I don't understand why the lyrics and music are what they are. But I perfectly feel the purpose of this creation. This is the only meaning of any art- to touch your soul in whatever way.

Jim indeed pushed the notion of Freedom as far as no one else has. And he keeps pushing it through all of us who feel our own freedom by experiencing him.

  • Brilliant!

  • After a night of backpains his voice is soothing and makes me feel like facing another day. Thanks, Jim!

  • @QueenOfTheHighway71 possibly the lamest comment i've ever read

  • @PipeAdams Who the fuck cares what you think!

  • Cet homme est d' une beaute incroyable!!!je t'aime Jim

  • Oh man. Love you.

  • I listen to that song for three days, and I can not get him away. I know almost the entire repertoire of the doors, but this piece is simply beautiful

  • As Hagiography this is So Beautifully and Lovingly done. We dig Jim's stuff!

  • Awesome..love Jim Morrison so ahead of his time..and yet timeless..

  • thanx a lot!

  • OMBRE by LUDOVICO EINAUDI an italian pianist

  • What a beautiful song.

  • There are continents and shores which beseech our understanding And this morning before I sign off Like a calm veteran of the psychic war I want the old forms to reassert their sexual cool My only wish is to see Far Arden again… Underwaterfall, underwaterfall, underwaterfall He was only a man And his dedication extended to the last degree Poor pretentious soldier Come home Come home
  • The American Night

The silk handkerchief was embroidered in China or Japan

    Behind the steel curtain

And no one can cross the borderline w/out proper credentials

The cellular excitement has totally inspired our magic veteran

The land might end and all our friends would follow another program

    Who are our friends?

    Underwaterfall, underwaterfall, underwaterfall

  • can please post the lyrics pleeeeaaaaaseeeeee?????? i just love this.!!! thank u

  • @zauberdufr Just listen.

  • @zauberdufr The lyrics is OMBRE by LUDOVICO EINAUDI an italian pianist

  • @marsoh

  • This is masterpiece, never heard before, actually!

  • Nice poem from jimbo..

Still a shame he's dead before time..

I think Far Arden is just a symbolic meaning for a living paradise

  • music, video and poetry, i like it so much !

  • He is still alive in my world... I would give everything to hear him sing..

  • This piece brings me to tears each time...No words...Jim is the one and only...

  • Far Arden might connect to the "Forest of Arden" in Shakespeare's "As You Like It," where it is described as, and proves to be, an environment conducive to metamorphosis and enchantment, like the forest in "A Midsummer Night's Dream." There is no known "Forest of Arden" on any map, but Shakespeare's mother's maiden name was Arden -- make of that what you will.

  • @78kaira There was also a cartoon called Far Arden.

  • & its all the ripping pins and needles & derailed hate thats been thrusted into me forcing me to become there work of yeah they love to see me split my spine and wrench out my limbs and shift my face up into my skull for the freedom of art & religin . i fucking love a huge mass of musicians. will they brand me for every song. i thought hitler looked funny and so do i thanx for enjoying mortifacation on Gods desaster.the humans wasted race u take away my free will for your justifacion. insane

  • rest in peace my dear Jim

another great work of art :)

  • I belive this one is called "Far Arden".

  • nice, but my favorite mojo verse, please reply any1 who knows the title,'books on my lap on the bus gives me a hard-on'

  • What you refer to is a phrase from one of his Notebook Poems called: Can we resolve the past.

You can find it in the book The American Night.

  • Most beautiful poem I've ever heard

  • I've never seen another philosopher top his views on freedom. I've never seen another poet open the doors like him.

    Under waterfall....

  • @BritaniaRuleAgain thomas jefferson.

  • @BritaniaRuleAgain

He was a great man, but there are many philosophers and poets better then him, and he'd be the first to tell you that.

  • speechless:((((

    Rest In Peace Jimbo...

you are the one man...no replacement...

  • @zampa111 nice saying

  • THE LIZARD KING..!!

  • simply amazing.... jim i miss you.....!!!!

  • beauty is so simple

  • Simply beautiful. I sat here listening and cried big plump tears pregnant with sadness of the loss of a truly magnificent gifted American poet. Rest in Peace Jim.

  • wow !!!! sooooo beautiful... thanks so much for this moment....:) Pam

  • He was a truely beautiful mind. Causing one to question for one's self,

  • it's really wonderful! do you know where can I find it if I want to buy the original version? in which album?

  • Yeah, I just cried like a little girl.

    I miss Jim....

  • Paul Rothchild said that they edited american prayer so badly just so the band could play to it, it would be like taking a stamp sized picasso and spreading it over a supermarket wall

  • Comment removed

  • was the piano in the oringinal recording?

  • Jim wanted to be known by his full name James Douglas Morrison when he did his poetry

  • I thought the doors had just an one hit wonder (light my fire)

but now im a total fan of this band! the doors isnt just music, its like a huge spectrum of "akkustc art"^^

  • Brilliant.

  • very good i like this vmuch

  • The proof is a name. BILL LOYER. Can you tell me who this really is? What was he doing between 1968 and 1971? Ok, no, I'll tell you. It is Jim Morrison formerly of the DOORS!

  • why did you say such a thing?

  • This is a great poem, very well done. Jim faked his death in 1971. I am 100% sure of this.

  • give me proof of ur 100% sureness,

GEt it real Even if jim had faked his death

he would not have many days to live with the way he was livin and how he treated his body during his time in LA and his doors days, his body would had been so used that any day he was living during 1970 was borrowed time, so yeah

  • no way dude, jim is gone

  • You quit school to join the circus?

  • Yeah I did.

  • Very good mixed up !

    A bit sad though...

  • right

  • I need the poem to translate it. Can someone help me??

  • because i am spanish. nobody?

PD. Me encantó parís.

  • De nada ^^

Hablo español porque mis abuelos nacieron en España. Tambien lo estudié un poco, igual que estudié el inglés...

A ver si escucho este video màs atentivamente para intentar, quizàs, una traduccion, aunque sea minima... ;)

  • I am A Big Fan Of The Doors and Pink Floyd

I Had a dream where at the ending of the pompaii version of a "saucer full of secrets" jim morrison was saying the poem from a feast of friends and it went beautifully.

can you mix jim's voice with some of pink floyds insrumentals?

It Would Be Great If You Could.

  • Thanks for adding the piano to Jim's poetry. It works beautifully. It's mysterious, dark and probing of the unknown. Groovy...
