From what I've seen, unauthorized sneakers may either be 1) "test" samples or 2) F-quality. Clearly, the Cool Greys in the video are unauthorized.

Great comparison but try comparing cool greys or any shoe from all major retail stores and you will still see a difference. Lots of people on nt and iss complaining about their black cements being b-grade with flaws that were purchased from major retailers. There not fakes its just an early production like a sample. You have early productions and final productions and its always been that way. Of course early versions have way too many flaws and stuff so they scrape'm and built off of them they now know how the shoe is going to be. these are NOT B-Grades. B-Grades are sold only at Nike Outlets. These are grey area market shoes that use most materials as the authentic shoes u get on release day, but are not authorized by NIKE. In a sense you can call these C-Grades or w.e. BUT THEY ARE NOT AUTHENTIC. This topic has been gone over and over and over on Nike Talk. The early release pairs aren't "fakes" they come from Nike. They're majority samples (not just in the size 9). To call them "fakes" is pretty bold.
There's a huge difference in FAKE & "B Grade." Don't mislead these people by calling them fakes.

I personally think while Nike/JB stands behind the claim the kicks are "unauthorized" at the same time they benefit from it because as people (Myself included) review the kicks early it builds the hype for their product to fly off the shelf. My black cements had patches of white on the leather with visible glue stains all over the cement print bought from ndc. Great comparison but try comparing cool greys or any shoe from all major retail stores and you will still see a difference. Lots of people on nt and iss complaining about their black cements being b-grade with flaws that were purchased from major retailers. It is a hit or miss for early release sites and authorized retailers.
