Also, back then a friend of mine got me into a strange Japanese show called Dragonball Z. Then I found out about the origin of MMPR and that's when I started watching anime when Toonami premiered three years later.

Well, In Space was where the "real" rangers stopped. Now they switch every year like the source footage. Besides, if you start watching in a short of Mystery Science Theater 3K style like a friend of mine does, you could like the series. Most of the time.

I remember the scene when The Green Ranger got into Zordon's headquarters and started destroying everything.  Very emotional. This nemesis the Power Rangers faced did not only destroy the Zordon headquarters but he jumped into the megazord and attacked the rangers from in there. No other nemesis was capable of doing such a thing, so that's why The Green Ranger was the big deal.

Not quite true. Catherine was able to enter the Falconzord in Season three. In power rangers Zeo a monster made by King Mondo took over the Zeo Megazord and one made by Rita & Zed took over the Super Zeo Megazord. The rangers were ejected in all three of these ocassions.

Everything Disney takes over ends up turning into crap. Look at ABC and the fall of their Saturday morning cartoons. The Power Rangers was great when it had that cheezy camp factor. Sure the fight scenes were extremely low-budget looking and were (in some episodes) poorly edited from the original Japanese version, but that's what made the show great! When they started "Americanizing" the Rangers too much--even the driving theme music was gone--the show lost the essence of what made it fun.

And that's because he was the first evil ranger. He was important. Evil rangers still take time to beat but it depends on how strong they are. Keep an eye out for the 2 or 3 evil ones in the next season.

Because Tommy was the first we were excited most for him but now in EVERY SEASON they have an evil one and we know they will beat him and he will join them, with Tommy we knew that they were going to beat him but it had a run for it's money.
