You must not know the history of your own band very well. Your two best finishes at BOA were with a Tower of Power show (which is the only time you've won) and a Blood, Sweat & Tears show. And the way you put it, it sounds like making finals was more important to you than performing a great interpretation of one of the greatest singers/performers of all time.
what i really said was if we had done a straight elvis show (just elvis music) there would not be chance of making finals (now admit that it is every band's goal to make finals) what would happen if the CJB did that 1992 show now? I dont think it would do as good today as it did back then. look if you Don't like this show then by all means that is your opinion.

which isn't even Elvis music, its "utilizing the music of Michael Daugherty as well as original compositions by Andrew Markworth". You got me excited about Elvis music until I remembered that you were Centerville, and probably cheated, which you did. If you could play real Elvis music well, my opinions would be changed entirely.
in an event such as this I have no idea how in the world you can cheat. Look you are obviously pissed because Centerville has a world Class Music Department. I don't appreciate the way you degrade center ville. you just sound ignorant
Okay, maybe cheated was a bit harsh. I was just a bit put off that the title of your show implied that you were playing music that was arranged directly from actual Elvis music, when I fact you weren't. And no, it's not because you guys can play well, which you can, you just can't play Elvis like he deserved to be played. (And the only reason I may sound critical of your ability is because our district is stupid)
Well everone...I took this video at a competition & I do not go to Centerville but I was completely satisfied with it because I love Elvis...I even get giddy watching his old videos. So the point here is..whether it is his direct music or not it is still in honor of him..It's the name of their show & I enjoyed it very very much. Thankyou Centerville :)
is there a centerville person who can put the BOA show on here?

Yeah, I'd have to agree with you there. BOA has gotten way too pro-artsy for me over the years.
