GOOD HAIR? I'M TIRED OF IT!!!!!!!!!!

Many people or black women don't realize not all but, don't realize that many black kinky hair do have a natural curl pattern of it's own. Now with many of the products that they have today can define the natural coil or curl pattern. I think many people are afraid to wear the "generic" boring natural styles and that is not true. Many don't have to be stuck with the same style. Once many figure what works for their hair and how to soften it, many will be okay. Many don't know their hair.(*_*)

@sheliene12 ...Hair survivor of the eighties! Many women are afraid that their hair might not look good. I am transitioning now and I have my hair in two drawstring ponytails. I have a lot of new growth and at the top of my hair, has a very deep wave pattern in it and smaller around the edges. I did not know that about my own hair because I have been perming a little over....15 years! I stopped perming three months ago. Thank god!! I am tired! LOL! Love your vids!

Preach it girl!!! I went natural 3 ago after struggling with chemicals since age 6.. All my life, people talking crap about my"nappy" head. Now I've learned to take care of my natural hair, same folks saying I got "good hair." Pisses me off. I also encourage people to go natural and they say they can't cuz they don't have my hair (4a). They don't know what they've got cuz their mama's were relaxing them early like my mama did me. They're just afraid.

LOL! Wow, thank you. I have gotten those dresses from JCPenney, TJMaxx, Ross and Macy's. I look for dresses with lycra all the time, sort of as a "uniform" for work, because they don't need to be ironed at all. LOW MAINTENANCE Suga! LOL! And I only buy them when they're on sale, so most of them, I didn't even pay more than $20 for. HELLO!!!!!!

the goog hair/bad hair mentality is rooted in slavery. ive heard a lot of good things about this book - Hair Story: Untangling the Roots of Black Hair in America by ayana byrd and lori tharps. it breaks down the psychological and spiritual aspects of black hair. it's on my must read list.
