Could you do this with a snowboard shoe? In another snowboarding video. He heat molded the inner sole in about 120 C* for 15 minutes. Can I do what you did in the video just with a snowboard sole/ inner shoe?
It really depends on the properties of the material. In the speed skate there is thermo plastic. In an insole it is probably foam with head molding properites. I don't think they use foam on the ankle areas of snowboard boots so you probably wouldn't get any molding in the ankle area. Maybe we should bring this tech to the snowboard community..?
