i have beaten this game multiple times and every time i feel like i am missing something in the trailers there were lands of spartan warriors and a big ass boar that you have to fight i was wondering if there was some way to get to these places of if they were just taken out of the game all together..

I've never agreed with people who complain about not needing to use complex moves to win battles. There are enough complex moves and abilities so use them.
The point of a game is to enjoy the experience not go from point A to the end as quickly as you can.
And I also disagree about the game not knowing what it wants to be. It was made clear that you level up with your deeds not pure stats.

Game's got good story line. if it's a movie i believe it'd be good. unfortunately, 90% of the time you spent pointless talking/running back and forth. Think of it as BS side quest that you are require to do in order to progress. Secondly, the layout map in this game's confusing. Most of the time you don't even know where you're going. This is Rise of the Argonauts. Not a Sherlock Holmes mystery/action game. Jason and the Argonauts deserve better than this.
This game became very glitchy at the end causing me to reset the console 3xs. Once I got stuck in Tartarus (Jason didn't respond and was frozen/stuck), second was a glitch in the last scene with the Blacktounge that killed Argo (Jason was Invisible the first and couldn't chose dialogue, second time i just couldn't chose dialogue), and the last was the last fight (couldn't operate control buttons).

Took me about 20 hours, but to get all the achievements you'll have to play it twice. It has pretty decent replay value thanks to the RPG elements. Choosing a different god to devote yourself to grants you different powers and dialog options.

whell I live in the midle of europe, here the game cost over 100 dollers and there are no rental stores, plus they import about 60% of all the games and 50% of thos games are crap, for instance- we never got fallout 3, far cry2, gta 4, gears 2 or even resistance 2, but we did get Lair, N3, sonic 2006 and too human.
I don't know how many "Middle Europes" there are, but I've been pretty as much convinced that I live in one of them. I don't know in which country do you live, but there is no shortage of quality games shipment in my birthplace (sometimes called the "Heart of Europe"). Contrary to your statement, we got Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, GTA 4 etc. without a single problem or delay. However, we've never had (and possible never even have known) games like "Lair", "N3" or "Sonic 2006".

I ve buyed this game, Rise of the argonauts, and i have to say ist fucking much fun ! Its really fun. It has a genius story, and a really good fightings system. Well the graphic is not the best, and the character looks in dialoges a bit donnish. But this is really no problem. All people who play good Action / RPGS / Adventures or interrested in Mythology i would say: Buy this game - you can't do wrong. i fucking love it

IGN I suspect is like Gamespot & taking money to provide higher reviews for games. Go back a bit to where a guy got fired at Gamespot for his low review on Kane & Lynch (I thought the game was cool though). Nice visual style though, and the unique setting kept it interesting. Prefer ME2 over it though, a billion times.

Took me about 20 hours, but to get all the achievements you'll have to play it twice. It has pretty decent replay value thanks to the RPG elements. Choosing a different god to devote yourself to grants you different powers and dialog options.

this game is really good but combat is scarce i wish they had more of it. Dont get me wrong the comabt is very satisfying the killscens are beautiful and so are the enviornments but some things feel out of place. Defintley not your average hack and slash game

whell I live in the midle of europe, here the game cost over 100 dollers and there are no rental stores, plus they import about 60% of all the games and 50% of thos games are crap, for instance- we never got fallout 3, far cry2, gta 4, gears 2 or even resistance 2, but we did get Lair, N3, sonic 2006 and too human.
What do you think about that ?

I don't know how many "Middle Europes" there are, but I've been pretty as much convinced that I live in one of them. I don't know in which country do you live, but there is no shortage of quality games shipment in my birthplace (sometimes called the "Heart of Europe"). Contrary to your statement, we got Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, GTA 4 etc. without a single problem or delay. However, we've never had (and possible never even have known) games like "Lair", "N3" or "Sonic 2006".

I ve buyed this game, Rise of the argonauts, and i have to say ist fucking much fun ! Its really fun. It has a genius story, and a really good fightings system. Well the graphic is not the best, and the character looks in dialoges a bit donnish. But this is really no problem. All people who play good Action / RPGS / Adventures or interrested in Mythology i would say: Buy this game - you can't do wrong. i fucking love it

IGN I suspect is like Gamespot & taking money to provide higher reviews for games. Go back a bit to where a guy got fired at Gamespot for his low review on Kane & Lynch (I thought the game was cool though). Gamespot just sucks smelly hangdown, an adventure game ALWAYS gets the shittiest scores no matter what there. Why? Because adventure game companies are small & don't give them bribes.
I also liked this game as well, mostly 4 the story but its quite fun 4 a watered down RPG, use a gamepad!

thats a 14 year old kids comment not a 36 year old adult. the man is doing his job. a reviewers job is to turn the game upside down, find all good and bad things and then measure them to conclude to a final verdict. all reviewers so far rated this game as average. he by all means does not express his own opinion. he just says what he sees.
you just can't realize the quality like a game critic does. you just see the game without the problems despit the frustration you get from them at times.

i got the game three days ago,there is pretty much fighting
but only on scripted events for as far as i know,
so no free roaming like final fantasy
again for as far as i now,
its a fun game but i think its pretty short you get to choose three islands to explore when leaving your home
i already completed 2 two of them within 4 hours....and i'm half way the third
and like the reviewer said no mini map gets pretty annoying
i would not recommend to buy it now maybe when it get cheaper
