@Niazuke The Fate/ Stay night anime was based off the Fate/Stay night Visual novel, else if you only want anime theres Kara no Kyokai(garden of sinners) or CANNAN which were made by Type-moon who made fate. Theres also the Fate/Stay Unlimited Blade Works movie if you haven't watched that already

They really should have shown the ending to the ending in the anime. Shirou and Saber reunite in Avalon in the distant future.

@bzoner16 why would they need to show that? This is UBW route. And the ending to the anime was the "fate" route true ending. The one where they reunite was fan service to all those complaining fans.

@jeezy395 No it was bringing closure and hope to a somewhat depressing ending. They could have made it as an OVA or some kind of corollary to the original anime. UBW has nothing to do with it.

i feel emiya v gilgamesh fight coulda been done much better

@CollinKindredHDVu the movie WAS epic as FUCk but it could've been a lot more epic like the route itself, a lot of topics missed, rushed or simply remade, I give the movie a 6/10 for missing a lot from the VN but as a movie I give it a 10/10 for its nostalgia factor and for its outstanding VAs and Graphics.

@dharmdevil Yeah the UBW route was just way to epic. I think the movie did a good job, but if you didn't play the UBW route then you don't know the definition of fate stay night. This anime is a good intro to fate stay night.
