Thanks again, love this place. We did the actual bowling and I loved the machines where you could win little trinkets. My grandson who was 17 when I took him to Okinawa in 2010 had a blast. Can't wait to go back again in the coming years.
My Mom now brought up an interesting question - how do you ensure that people pay for three hours and stay for three hours and not longer? Is that another Japanese thing - that they just don't cheat like that...? O.O
Anyway, thanks for another interesting and awesome video!
That's fascinating~! I live in Glendale, Arizona in the U.S.A, and I know of one game center that's very far away that is more or less lame compared to this! We don't have game centers or water parks, really. One or two maybe that I would be able to reach within an entire day..
i remeber going here with my freinds having no idea what it was so i wore my workout clothes cause i heard sports center which was wrong there is much more than that
Wow! I could spend a life time in a place like that. Shame we don't have anything like them over here. Loved the gaming section best, especially driving simulators.
So this is probably a silly question mixed with a bit of wishful thinking. :D But, a few things like this are shown in the movie Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift. Are there any soccer fields set ontop of buildings or anything? XD Also wondering how the Japanese took that movie, if you know, and if it in any way realistically portrayed the car culture. Street racing? Beefed up cars? Drifting? XD
LOL Mini bowling :D you're cute. Actually it's called "Kegeln" in German. It's mmm I'd say it's the original form of bowling. We still have many Kegel-Clubs here, but it's considered to be old-fashioned and something for "granny and gampa". And bowling centres are pretty rare and waaay to expensive so.. yea. Not really popular here with the young generation.
Question - I'm 18 and whenever i try to step foot in an arcade i automatically feel old in amongst the sea of 12/13yr olds, is that the same in the places in Japan or do you usually find an array of different ages at game centers like the one in your video?
WOOOOOOW THATS CHEAP , wish they had them in UK, the closest we get to that is VIRGIN GYM and thats a bag of SHIT :( . . . . when i visited US they had stuff like that but it was a rip off . . .
Okay, 1st : There's a new recording electronic called Flip Video! 2nd : If they add the Video Game area, this place will make hell lot of money!!!! >:D
that place is awesome... i wish there is gonna be one in the city i'll be to live in japan... thanks for another video.... keep em comming... i love em, and im sure lots of ppl do too =) .... hmm... the place was EMPTY... does if fill up in weekends? looks kinda boring when its empty... good when we go with little "parties" =D
That seems awesome! Definitely going to visit on my trip...Where is this particular game centre situated? I read the Round 1 site but it was pretty hard to navigate...
And when during the day/week did you visit that place? I'd love to visit the game centre when it's as empty as that?!
@Trruckker I thought the same thing... but as long as they keep that business open for about a month until I'm able to visit Japan in December, I wont be complaining after having the entire place to myself. lol
@dominicdit You'd think no one on this channel has ever seen that meme. I am a subscriber. I simply thought that it was in context and that it was funny. If you want to gripe, at least do it over something worth being upset about.
Man if I could have paid twenty bucks to play DDR in highschool I would always have been there. I'm sure I spent more than that in quarters for sure. That could be a bad thing if I ever get to Japan.
Omg this place is amazing!!! Its fucking heaven! Id be there so much! 3 hours sound a bit short. Theres so much to do there! I hope theres one I can find in Tokyo!

thanks for the upload. i was lucky to spend time in Japan years ago and loved visiting the game centres there. they made arcades in america look like a shoe closet with a old tube tv and a nes in it. keep up the good work.
1500 yen for 3 hours... now thats an absolute bargain! Wish I can give this video a thumbs up more than once.
I really like it how its not just limited to machines, and can also play other sports as well. Its definitely worth the money. I know where to go now when I need some time to kill for cheap :D
The closest thing I have to something like this nearby is Dave and Buster's :D I LOVE that place. It's essentially the same price for a card with 100 points on it that you swipe in every machine/game. Each game costs like 3-5 pts.
You didn't mention anything about tickets, though, in the arcade area. Kids who like arcade games here in the states LOVE the ticket part of it. Do Japanese arcade games not distribute tickets if you get a high enough score?? Or did the one there just not do it?
I remember when I was a little boy, we went to Chuck E. Cheese quite a bit. Pizza and arcade games, that was the shit. I played Skeeball quite a bit. Unfortunately, I was usually never very good at it, but it was still fun nonetheless. And the best part was TRADING MY TICKETS FOR PRIZES! :)
Sadly, though, I never really was able to get one of the really 'fancy' prizes there. Not that I care now cuz I'm 23, but that's nostalgia for ya.
Oh god Round 1. When I was staying In Fussa tokyo for a month I like had to go to round one like every other day I swear to god I used so much yen and when I ran out I convinced some kids there to let me buy their yen off them with usd lmao. Shit was so much fun. Wish I could of done bowling and what not but my sister didn't want to do anything else besides games.
