That would be Marian (or Demon Attack in the US) one of Leon/Judas's strongest Artes. Yuri gets it if he wears the Judas costume. Every character actually has a speical arte they get from using a costume of another Tales character.

So you first fight the strongest enemies... then Namco puts a twist and you have to fight your allies after that?! Pretty awesome twist, which is why I wonder other games didn't get this concept *cries*. If there was another version of Symphonia... I could see "Girls vs Boys" or "Sylvarant vs Tehealla!". As for Abyss... who knows what would happen if you had to go against Tear and Jade O_O!!!

You're right Omega. While I'm more than pleased with this, I was hoping with all the additions, a fight against Sodia/Witcher/Flynn would occur.

(A Flynn/Schwann/Cumore/Alexei fight would be even better, though 2 are dead and Cumore's fighting skill is questionable)

I mean i have heard more people from the US discuss TOV in comparison to the japanese audience of the game. which resulted in the massive overhual of ToV for the PS3. it is sad that this game may not make it to the US. It's a cool concept but the problem with inserting Duke's Big Bang is that it can now kill on Hard (1P only) and then entire party on Unknown (which is guaranteed death). Brave Vesperia can pretty much destroy 50% - 75% of your team most of the time if not 100% while healing Duke back up to 1/3 of his max HP. If you do have a boss that is like that however, its a fun concept, but tedious fight. Yuri can take whatever bosses out in this game in one blow though.

With a MA that deals over 1 million damage,he could obliterate the 3 dukes with just one move. Still,having a difficult boss is what makes us player more atracted to defeat it,even when he's undefeated by the game logic (cofmithoscof)

@ Megarusan: I think that is what got me into tales of games in the first place. I at the time was playing Star ocean and wanted another action RPG and i stumbled upon tales of symphonia. I loved it for it's challenging battles but after a while it got to easy. I think it is awesome that they put in bosses that can beat the crap out of you. I know fighting Nebilim in Abyss on Uknow was a real B**** but it was fun as hell. I am hoping for this kind of challlenge in future Tales of games.

@ asndarknessdragon: I am sure people could find a way around it. I know there are some skills in abyss and vesperia that allow charactes to res after being killed. i am not sure if it is like abyss where it is a 1 time thing or what ever. It has been a while sinc i have plpayed ToV. But i think it would be cool if the too like the 3 hardest fell arms quest bosses (Nebilim or Abyssion to name 2) or what ever they are called and put them in on fight. That would be challanging.

SOrry i ran out of room for my next comment. But i think Namco would Fix the fights to make it fair or winable. I think the spiral draco in ToV for the PS3 is really BS worthy but it can be beaten. YOu might have to farm things like status increase items like Verberna or Safron but it can and has been done before for other Tales of games. No, its not tiring at all. I enjoy reading thoughts like these. It's true that it can be done and its been proven many times. Namco made sure its winnable, that is given. For example, Tales of Heart's secret boss on Very Hard and Unknown, spams her MA every 30 seconds if you attack her from the ground, and it is a guaranteed kill for all characters in front of her. However, you have the auto healing stone for revival and aerial attack spam to counter it.

Now it's my turn to apologize if I'm rambling as well XD. The problem with farming for stats is that 1) it takes too long or 2) it doesn't help. Ex. Duke in Unknown can be soloed in less than a minute each. The problem is that the skills needed to do so is very obscure (It is Yuri's combination skills that make this possible to deal over 4 million damage in 1 strike, but no one uses this because its "useless"). What I'm saying is that the way around is tedious for normal gamers to figure out.

Ah don't sweat it too much i get what you mean. i guess that is what makes these games so popular with the fans are those time consuming task such as stat farming or what not. I get what you mean i was looking int that skill combo for a bit... but that meant changing my yuri up just to achieve it. I have always been more partial to combos/hits in the tales of games over straight up power. You are right for the most part Farming does not help and by the time you are finished you leveled a lot.

I know for myself i was farming stats for the 3rd duke just so i could beat him. Took me like 3 days and then a friend suggest i just farm grade and exp. took my about a few hours and i was done. But yeah most newcomers to the tales series would find things like that to be a pain or irratating. For the most part i can see why Namco Remakes the games with ad-ons or the like. Kind like throwing us a bone and keeping the newcomers happy as well. I just wish they would release mor remakes in the US.
