By the way, who is the author of the lyrics? And can someone tell me, what should be meant by ‘sometime ago’ instead of ‘some time ago’?..

Doug, I too am retired and was formerly a public school instrumental and vocal music teacher. I think we are "on the same page" musically, and I try to learn from each of your postings.
