  • The voice is soooooooooooo sultry-that alone would make this a great recording, but add to it the fantastic arrangement and you really do have what must be one of THE best recordings of this songs. And thanks for the beautiful pictures of the moon. You've put a hell of a lot of thought into this, and it shows.

  • Bayonetta <3

  • ベヨネッタ!!!

  • Intro of the song 'Somebody that i used to know' by 'Gotye' sounds quite the same in some way.

  • Красивая песня. Очень

  • My only complaint (which is a small one) about this is that it's too up tempo for me. This cover is like 1.3 times faster than I would care for.

  • pan am <3

  • How to tell a song is truly wonderful: Everyone on the comment board gets along.

A beautiful song, thanks for sharing it with us.

  • buddha be praised, old movies from the east :)

  • @Gyphia its a rarity. most of them drink and sing about losing their virginity at sixteen. what happened to the world eh?

  • I love the beginning =))

  • After played Bayonetta in Xbox 360 this is one of my favourite music currently.

  • Did anyone ever hear, Keiko Lee's version? What album doe she have it on? She does it very sultry

  • meow

  • Julie London is a gift to us all. Keep her voice and groove out there.

  • I was listening to this song in an elevator, and I started dancing. It stopped and I was in the middle of that big instrumental at 0:56 and the guy who got in just nodded. When Julie started singing again, I burst from the elevator and began singing. The guy sang too. We had a mini jam sesion outside an elevator. It was awesome.

  • @10MoNiOl EGGsalant! May we all have stories like that to tell!

Now ... what kind of question can I go around with to tease stories like THAT out of people?

  • @RVAepiphanyseeker Good question. The problem is, most people don't like to break their box open to experience these things. Try telling yours first, then say, "When's the last time anyone you know did THAT?" I got a prep at my school to admit she still watches Spongebob and sings the theme song with her little brother. Good luck!

  • very similar to Diane Krall.. socool

  • She is a goddess. I like the way she sang.

  • U really enjoy pop, rap music... but when i listen to this piece.. I am so pissed off... what have i missed all these years...?

  • Her voice is so sweet... I especially like the part form 1:05 TO 2:00

  • @2001PB I take that back... I like the part from 0.00 to 2.29 :D

  • @2001PB yes she's great. and thank god you didn't say 0:00 to 2:29! :D

  • @leadershipcouncil Haha... Thank god people agree with me!!!

  • @2001PB So, you like the bridge? You know, the part where the vocals cut out?

  • @L337N1NJ4L1NK Yup... Because it's different from other version... It's way better!!! well... It really have a "Fly me to the moon" spirit!!!

  • @2001PB I like the part where there is just the music.. maybe because it's different from other version... It's better!!!! Really have a "Fly me to the moon" spirit!!!

  • @2001PB thats messed up..

  • @2001PB Hahahaha !! Why did so many like this comment?? LOL !! "I like her voice esp 1:05 - 2:00", the catch is she is not singing from 1:05 - 2:00 ! Hahahahaha !!

  • @2001PB When she DOESN"T SING? lol

  • @MasterThief1324 Obviously... It's a great instrumental break.

  • @2001PB i like the the part 0:00-2:29

  • clasico

    exelent

  • Which 23 idiots disliked this :O eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeH.

  • I don't think it would be very pleasant to see what spring is like on jupiter and mars

  • Simply wonderful

  • clasic...

  • the one and only ! - loads of other artists who did and still try to sing it ... no way = this is the ONLY ONE ;)

  • Best version ever....!

  • I had almost forgotten about Julie London one of the finest from the Patti Page, Dinah Washington, Jo Stafford era and what a great time that was musically.

  • damn so much soul..

  • Wonderous

  • Από τότε που πάτησεν το πόδι του ο΄ανθρωπος στο Φεγγάρι , έχασε την γοητεία του και το τον ερωτισμό που εξέπεμπε !!!

  • What a nice change from the standard way we've heard this song in the past. The Sinatra version is timeless but this Bossa Nova version puts a fresh twist on it. Love it!

  • Just loving this song....

  • gold time

  • wack wack wack

  • beautiful...perfection...voice like velvet

  • the ultimate classic that everyone knows!

  • classic!

  • Could you tell me in what dance style one should dance this song - I can't put my finger on it but the rhythm sounds suitable for one of the dancesport dances - I just can't say which. Could you please help me?

  • I think this version was on Mad Men, Then again. I could be wrong.

  • A Julie classic.

  • Ah Julie London.... bought a compilation of hers when I was 18 purely cos I liked the album cover, what a buy otherwise I might never have discovered the woman with the silkest, smoulderingly sexy voice ever!!

My daughter listened to this song constantly as a babe and when she was just 2yrs broke into a spontaneous rendition of this infront of a group of old ladies in a cafe... such things the sweetest memories are made.

  • Fly me to the moon 詞曲:Bart Howard編曲:Toshiyuki Ohmori Fly me to the moon帶我飛向月球 And let me play among the stars並讓我在群星之間嬉戲 Let me see what Spring is like讓我看看 On Jupiter and Mars在木星和火星上的春天是怎樣的 In other words, hold my hand!換句話說,請握住我的手 In other words, darling, kiss me!換句話說,親愛的,吻我 Fill my heart with song讓我的心靈充滿歌聲 And let me sing forevermore並讓我永遠地歌唱 You are all I long for你是我所有的渴望 All I worship and adore我所敬仰與熱愛的一切 In other words, please be true!換句話說,請真心對我 In other words,I love you!換句話說,我愛你

  • @Taowhr HELL YEAH!!!!!

  • Julie London is so, so stylish in every way, respect! These kind of women are rare...

  • とても心地いい。でもなぜか、切なく感じるのはなぜだろう。

  • It's the best version of this song! Franky dose good, but Julie London's version is the best ever!!!!! :)

  • The great Julie London, perfect !

  • this is a song from bayonetta..true fact

  • oh my gosh..its just like a song taken from a dream (sorry about my english :DDDD ) i just love it...and it reminds me many things

  • When Did she record this;before,or after "Emergency!"? Love her version, even more than Frank's,or Tony's.

  • @HUSKY57887 I believe she recorded it around 1961-62

  • @OldMrMemories Thanks

  • When I was young, I listened to it everyday, every night. This was the only song that my parents weren't pissed at me for replaying it every night.

  • This is a really good version.

  • I love this song!

If you like this song too please check out my piano Cover on my channel

    I hope you'll enjoy it!

  • wow what an awesome video

    i love it

  • em casa a ouvir a julie london...oh julie :-)

  • My favorite version. simple, not overdone and no tunes carried for too long. Just perfect.

  • this song always makes me feel so relaxable

  • God. <33

  • superb,cant say any more

  • Is Diana Krall Julies reincarnation?

  • @kennethlindsey Diana doesn't hold a candle--way too many intonation problems, sings more from the back of the throat (not desired at least in a strict beauty of the voice), and vibrato is uneven. Julie's voice was as smooth as silk--with incredible technique-- with a forward placed voice, georgous vibrato, and fairly consistent intonation.

  • @callmeBe You are so right...London was a gift to a generation gone by. who are we stuck with? Krall. Krall is a pale shadow by comparison.

  • @hyperion30000 Exactly. When a classy CD comes out like Natalie Cole's "Unforgettable," even though it's been 10+ years though, it gives me some hope for music's future . . . To get back to Julie--I have some of her very first recordings, which were made with Les Brown's big band (Skippy Martin did the arranging and--he was such a good writer!!), and she had a virtually perfect warm and enveloping voice from the very start of her recording career.

  • She was so beautiful and with such a velvety voice. A unique lady and a great singer. She helped us choose our daughter's name.

  • This song gets a lot of airtime in Tucson, AZ

  • Annyira jó :)

  • najlepsza wersja - the best version

  • Samba ;D

  • Sweet song....

  • beautiful version, the lady had class..

  • I first heard this version on a tv advertisement for a car. Blew me away without doubt the best version, even better than Sinatra's IMHO.

  • This is the version everybody uses.... because it's the best by miles.

  • Doris Day Rocks too !!! I never knew she song this song. :)

  • Świetne!!!

  • I love Agnetha Faltskog version best

  • naah, doris day's version tops
