hey can anybody confirm this? to me, it looks like all the flying akrid are providing thermal energy for the sattelite canon, so that they can destroy the over g. is that true? and does the over g turn into a sun or something?

I never liked the first Lost Planet because I didn't like how your energy would fall like a rocket. And It was VERY Difficult on easy. Although this one is alot of fun. More than one character to play as is cool. Plus they put in that guy who played as Garra on Naruto as the sand leader guy. And his voice ROCKS! Idk it's just cool. But overall I love this game. There is alot more to do on this one. 9.5/10

theres a secret cutscene if you die right before the cutscene at the end they leave you and they lose the war

If you die right before the cut scene you will just see a count down to respawn and if your battle guage is 500 then it's mission fail.

I don't know where you're hearing about this second ending. It's just a rumor.

@maroom1 its way better then LP1, it also kinda like a BattleField game, so if you die, you respawn at the nearest Data Post without restarting the level, but be warned, you can only die so many times

but because of this the battles are much harder and the snipers have better aim, believe me ive died for more head shots then anything else in the game

but once you beat the game, you unlock "Gears Of War" costumes and you can use your custom character in campaign mode

For those who are having trouble playing as their special characters such as Albert Wesker or Frank West, this is what you need to do. At the Lost Planet 2 menu, go to "My Page". After that, go to "Customization" and then go to "Character Parts". Lastly, look in the section to the left that says "Present Models"

In there should be what you're looking for and if not, it probably means you need to level your character up more to unlock it.
