@1223reedy Out Numbered is on a concept album about a Zombie Apocalypse. Other than a few Christian undertones I don't think it's suppose to be a Christian album. At all. It was an album put together just for fun. Probably to answer the question "are we big enough to get away with a whole album about zombies?" Obviously they are big enough to do so.

@coolio1246 By definition they might not be a "Christian band," but have you read any of their lyrics? They very much come from a Christian perspective. That said, they might not use "Christian" as a label for themselves, but the content of their music undeniably comes from a faithful viewpoint. Now, is such a miniscule difference enough to prohibit them from making a Christian Metalcore list? I think not. Back to my original point: As I Lay Dying should be in this video.

keep it positive. you don't have to listen to heavy worship. but you certainly should not call it the devil's music because it isn't conventional church choir material. no one that lives for christ should ever dare to say one man's way of worship and praise is wrong, or inferior to another. especially when every popular pop artist on the radio today gives off such a terrible message to a broader audience. let heavy worship do what i personally have seen it do for so many people, and just letitbe

no one who says how bad christian hxc is has obviously never been to a real hardcore show...with kids from broken homes, using drugs and alcohol, being so extremely promiscuious. the bands that get on stage and preach in the lord's name shed the lord's light on people who have only ever seen darkness. i am seventeen years old, was raised catholic, and often go to shows at my local venue. i hear amazing stories of salvation and recovery from the likes of i am history and creations.

i saw the chariot and oh, sleeper at easter fest, chariot was awesome but oh, sleepers sound mix was crap, wish it was good.. couldnt hear any of teh guitars and the vocals were distorting :S

Ive admitted this time and time again to people the only ones who have a lot of talent is the drummer and vocalist in most core bands. electro is pretty awesome and upbeat so i enjoy it. if you put a cover up or you make your own music I'll judge you accordingly.

Christian metal... isn't that an oxymoron? Whom do these Christian metal bands draw influence? Slayer? Mayhem? Testament? I'm going to start a band that sounds exactly like DC Talk except all the lyrics will be about violence, rape, and death. It will sound like Christian music but the lyrics will be all disgusting, and brutal. Think we'll be hardcore? You bet your gosh darn rear end we will be!!!

@OCEANJERK dude honestly, you are soo missing the point, you are going to read this is and think i am just another heretic defending metal music. but, what you are saying is along the lines of what the pharisees were saying, jesus hung out with the lowest of the low, we are trying to get the message to the people through metal, a scene in which the devil had a monopoly, but it starts when they like a riff, then a lyric, then eventually they get the message of god. its a 3 to 5 minute sermon.

I know guys from both Agraceful and here i come falling which is not pretty much beneath the empire and i know them too, and some of them are more "Holy" than half the people i know who only sing hymns and listen to southern Gospel, and btw the Bible says to not judge another mans heart or you, yourself is in sin, and theres scripture that talks about scream of glory or crying out (meaning yelling out) glorifying God sooo do your research :)

@OCEANJERK If the lyrics of the music glorify God and the band is performing for His Glory, does the genre of music matter at all? So you're saying that if there were two songs, one metal and one some other genre, with the exact same lyrics, message, and intent to Glorify God, that the metal song is still somehow "from Satan"? That makes no sense. The Bible says to use the gifts and abilities God blessed you with to glorify Him. If you have a gift and ability for metal, use it for HIM!
