iphonebrowswer is the easiest. you dont have to set up anything, just install it.

double click on the desktop icon and browse your iphone as you would your harddrive.

When you press the blank bookmark icon (the invisible ones) it doesn't open a window in safari. It "nulls" the blank icons.

Null=do nothing in programming terms.

Not exactly sure what you mean by toolbar. But all i really did was rotate the icons.  The status bar can also be rotated but i preferred not to, as I had to switch back and forth and it would become a haste to keep changing it.

Why dont you move the header on the springboard to landscape mode?

I saw pics of the theme in landscape but the header bar was still in potrait mode. You should change it, do you know how?

I assumed it might be easier if I did not include the status bar with landscape mode because it would be more difficult and it actually gets in the way of the top arrow. Perhaps in the next version I'll include it.
