I adore Whitney. She is brought me more joy than any other singer besides Aretha and Dionne Warwick. However, my friends, some of your memories are not spot on. Even when Whitney was in spectacular voice, her performance on tour was spotty at best. The Diva would announce a tour and end up canceling a third of the dates because of vocal fatigue and losing her voice. She is a genius but technically, sings incorrectly which causes vocal strain and nodes. She is still the best.
