In Flames - Sounds of a Playground fading

Meiner Meinung nach ist In Flames wirklich gut-auch die neuen Alben- aber es ist, finde ich, kein Melodic Death Metal mehr, sondern eher Metalcore, da für mich zum Melodic Death Metal überwiegend aus gutturalem Gesang (Growls, Screams) besteht und Anders auf den neuen Alben sehr viel mit klarer Stimme singt.

Trotzdem echt saugut ;)

I liked all In Flames album until A Sense Of Purpose. I don`t know, that one just didn`t do it for me. When it comes to this one, I really haven`t heard through it that much. But the few times I have, I found some songs pretty nice while most off it was just not intresting too me. I`m gonna see them in April, so hope they play alot off old stuff =)

@wolfboii999 well after comparing i think it's not really copied if you wanted to mention that... it's not similiar enough. Lots of bands have had covers without the album name on it.

And the colours aren't the same at all...

mimimi nicht mehr heavy genug... In Flames sind genau so, wie sie sein sollen... sie erfinden sich immer wieder neu, jedes einzelne Instrument entwickelt sich und vor allem geben sie sich nicht zufrieden mit dem, was sie bisher geleistet haben... und das sind viele musikalische Meisterwerke! und wollen wir mal ganz ehrlich sein... wenn ich mir hartes Zeug anhören will, mach ich Iniquity, Kalmah oder sonstwas an... und komme immer wieder zurück zu...

ist halt so.

ich mein weiterentwicklung ist ja schön und gut, aber dabei schlechter werden->falsch

natürlich erkennt man in flames wieder und ich kann mir die sachen auch anhören,

aber da waren die älteren einfach viel besser.

mein hauptkritikpunkt ist eigentlich der gesang, es ist zu 90% nur noch cleangesang vorhanden.

ich bin eigentlich kein großer fan von gutturalem gesang, aber bei in flames fand/finde ich ihn echt klasse. dazu kommt dass friden keine gute cleanstimme hat.

Und nichts da ,,90% clean gesang". Das trifft auf bfmv zu aber nicht auf IN FLAMES!

Ausserdem wird des nächste Album wieder härter obwohl dieses auch nicht gerade mellow ist!

Tja,

hab das Album nicht ganz gehört,

da es einfach langweilig war. Und ich sag auch nicht, dass ich In Flames jetzt kacke finde,

nur finde ich die Entwicklung der letzten Alben nicht sehr ansprechend und es ist softer geworden.

Und natürlich haben die das Recht, musikalisch ihr Ding durchzuziehen,

aber meine subjektive Meinung ist halt dass, sie früher besser waren und im Moment schlechter werden. Sie waren früher einfach um Längen besser. Zeichenbegrenzung suckt.

Warum? Na, weil Niclas Engelin da beim Songwriting mitwirken wird. Und Niclas war ja bis jetzt bei Engel und die sind auch ziemlich heavy

Da freu ich mich auch drauf.

Und hatte ich auch schon erwähnt, diesen In Flames Sound findet man auch noch auf SOAPF und vom Stil her, finde ich es auch nicht so schlecht, nur die Entwicklung vom MeloDeath zum naja auf jedenfall eindeutig viel weniger Death, find ich halt traurig, hätten sie von Anfang an sowas gespielt, hätte ich uach das Album besser gefunden! ;)
