This film BLEW MY MIND the first time I saw it in the theater. Jamie Foxx gave nothing short of a miraculous performance as Ray Charles. I had never seen an actor so submerged into a character like that in my life up until then. That was a movie-going experience I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
