  • @niceocean1 well, he began going blind at age 5 due to glaucoma. however, he went completely blind after seeing his brother drown. many believe he went blind tramatically (which is very possible), but some say he went blind medicallly. we really will never know the truth because during those times, medical records for Blacks were slim to none

  • This film BLEW MY MIND the first time I saw it in the theater. Jamie Foxx gave nothing short of a miraculous performance as Ray Charles. I had never seen an actor so submerged into a character like that in my life up until then. That was a movie-going experience I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
