@plazzax Hello, please keep watching for what is new. We will be deep water testing the 4x4 in the next week or so. Subscribe to get updates on projects as they are proven . Thanks again .
Hello, it has been upgraded since this video and it is much stronger and looks better ,Check out the comparison between the electric and gas version. Thanks for watching.
Yes it is reversable but it simply was not applied to this unit and yes you can climb off and it will float around and then comeback after a few minute and climb back on with zero problems. We will show more of this capacity summer of 2009 Thanks for looking
Yes , A Honda could get away with this a few times ,but the possibility of a costly repair is very high . Although not shown this electric sport ATV was submerged 12 times with no more than 1 minute between ,and that was only to change riders and do an 1/8 mile incline test wich was expectedly succesfull.
I did not understand your comment?? can your ATV run for a LONG period under water or just a few seconds? can you turn it off and restart it while in the water? I don't know much about electricity? wouldn't you short the system if it came in contact with water?
or is your motor/batteries/switches all watertight/isolated?? please explain?
Hello, Yes This unit can be ran under water as long as it can above water and can be shut off and turned back on with no issues. We have built this unit to be especaily hearty to endure all aspects of a true ATV. Thank you for viewing .
Hello, Our running speed is not this slow it was simply operated slowly during this video. Please watch Electric ATV joy ride it is at the same location. We are not short on power Voltage or speed. Nobody wants an All Terrain Vehicle that cannot traverse All Terrains. Have a nice day and thanks for watching.
Well that's odd. Any prepared engine can run under water.
They came stock issue in the military for roughly 50 years to the present day Land Rovers. I'm sure this place has many samples crossing under water of many types.
This unit is demonstrating the water fording capacity of an Electric vehicle not a petroleum powered vehicle , Their is no snorkeling needed here. Have a nice day
That is amazing I want one

Your reverse option switch should be easy.
Your just flipping polarity.
It's look fun, and could come in handy pulling craft back to shore.
Philscbx 2 years ago
Hello, yes the switch was simply not applied to this unit.

Hello, This unit is running more than 12 volts and our components are proprietary. Thanks for viewing.

It looks like you don't have REVERSE on your ATV!! isn't the electric motor REVERSABLE?? or is the ATV design not allowing REVERSE? just curious.

it would be cool if you started the video with the bike entirely under the water, then the guy goes out an gets it

very cool chad.. but a gas couldn't do that without destroying the motor...

Go ahead, take your flashlite in the tub instead of the duck, it'll work just fine.
High voltage, like what's needed for ignition if not protected would have a problem.
And what pfuntner mentioned with electronic controllers.
They would have to be gel sealed.
You could go extreme with electric hydrostatics for towing power, but less speed like a mini bobcat drive system.
But these guys are having too much fun as it is.
