I'm obsessed with his work. Ralph Bakshi has proven that cartoons are'nt just for kids to enjoy, they can be for adults more than any live action project. Whoever put all of his films and tv shows on youtube, thank you so much.

The idea of a struggle between magic and technology is interesting. I think it's really a question of whether man will understand the world around him or just accept that it is more than himself. Old movies like this are great.

Avatar huh ? James Cameron did you see this movie in '77 and just love that name and thought maybe I'll make my own sci fi fantasy movie in the future when animation will be "superior" than Wizards in 77

James Cameron is a fan of Wizards as it's one of his favorite animated movies including Akira, Ghost in The Shell, Grave of the Fireflies, American Pop, Heavy Metal, Totoro, Nausicaa and more. Avatar doesn't mean the wizard it means like a computer avatar, and let's not forget the recent anime cartoon named Avatar Last Airbender on Nick. Afterall Avatar (Cameron) is similar to Wizards, Nausicaa (Warriors of the Wind) and Heavy Metal as he was influenced by those.

Thanks for uploading this. I first saw this on cable in the 70's when I was a kid! I love the mix of styles throughout, the Nazi demon army, and the magic vs technology plot.
