  • Is Sam gay!

  • I Love Elmo.! Elmo don't like fruit.! Elmo do like FRUIT.! :)

  • Lovely to see that Elmo acts like a grown-up, au contraire to the majority of people commenting below.

  • Do you think Elmo and the other schoolchildren know that Genetically Engineered organisms actually become part of the bacteria in our digestive tracts and reproduce continuously inside us?

  • @sasser227 think no

  • Eat our frankenfood. GMO monster mush!

  • Children's shows and politics do not mix. It's great if a show wants to send a message about eating healthy but using the White House chef to do it and referencing a new law is just creepy.

  • will this law require the school lunches to be organic non-GMO foods?

  • aww <3

  • YEAH! ELMO'S A DEMOCRAT!

  • Making healthy food available for children is important. Why does the dollar become the bottom line when it comes to education, but the sky is the limit for profit and war?

  • Looks like Mr. Sam had a big burrito there. yumm

  • Sounds like Elmo should be more concerned with his language skills rather than colorful things in his lunch. Hopefully these schools will teach him something useful, such as referring to himself in the first person and not the third. Isn't it ironic that this seems to be the vision of the liberals for our schools? The students have no real skills, but they learn to accept the social engineering of the Nanny-State in their lives.

  • @MDFaithfulCatholics Elmo is just a little beacon of light trying to do good. Wasn't the great teacher criticized for trying to do good?

  • Michelle Obama’s $4.5 billion "Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act" mandates broke school districts to grow gardens and have salad bars, but it begs the question why can’t the existing system be revamped to give children healthier choices without costing a fortune.

It also takes $2.2 Billion away from the Food Stamp Program to fund it. Currently the US pays some farmers not to grow food, and Michelle is on Sesame Street using Elmo to push it.

  • Poor Elmo! I hope he's part of a union so he can go out on strike after being used for Michelle Antoinette's propaganda! Propaganda aimed at our children and grandchildren: remember, the Communists are experts at using propaganda. This White House proves it. What is the difference between Elmo and the Hama's mickey mouse screaming about the Jews being the devil and killing them all. Propaganda is propaganda regardless of the message.

  • @dkkght46 MICHELLE ANTOINETTE? What is wrong with you? Propaganda is propaganda, but using it doesn't make you Communist! And Marie Antoinette is the very opposite of Communism. Maybe if you weren't an idiot and learned some of her history before you went around using her as an insult you'd realize that using Elmo, a symbol beloved by children and their parents across the world, is a positive thing! And the First Lady is doing a wonderful thing trying to help kids eat healthier.

  • @badboysRhawt22 Hamas uses Mickey Mouse to teach children to hate Jews and kill them for Allah. From NBC news-Fewer Students Eating School Lunches Since Healthy Options Arrived. The district says lunch sales from September to December of 2010 dropped about five percent -- about 20,000 meals each day -- from the year prior. But are these kids not starving because of incompetant parenting?

  • @JBBlitz You're sick. Having crappy food in school isn't "letting people eat what they want," it's allowing America to have the highest childhood obesity rate in the world! You conservative Republican nutcakes are always going on about "less government" and yet you all are trying to take away personal freedoms like being able to marry who you want and to have or not have a child.

  • @badboysRhawt22 Republicans never took the marry act away, they just never made it available as an option and the goverment has no right to tell people what to eat, that is too personal and unecenessary nanny state non sense.

  • @JBBlitz Yeah, never making it an option is the SAME THING. IT'S DENYING PEOPLE BASIC RIGHTS. And the government isn't telling people what to eat, it's telling schools that fried mozzarella sticks, canned fake fruit, and rotten milk does not a healthy lunch make. Kids can still eat themselves sick on chicken wings whenever they want. The government just doesn't want schools to make it their only option.

  • My school doesn't have any of that

  • elmo deserves a knuckle sandwich!

  • good, maybe the will take the ice cream and chips and soda out of my school :-/
