All of Betty''s numbers in this film were "a la Marilyn." I guess she was getting hers back after being dumped by Fox, after MM became popular. Betty was very nice to MM when they did "How to Marry a Millionaire" but...well, she was only human. Grable was a big, big star, but nothing neurotic or mysterious or tragic about her. It's too bad she is not as well- remembered as she should be.
