With all that being settled, I can't argue that I could most probably not last one set with these guys. In all honesty, I's rather last two sets with real musicians who actually play their instruments, not masturbate them. Most Metal styles have been overdone. Overcooked. Over eaten. Vomited. Slurped. no, im not. my guitar is two whole steps down to play In Flames songs, and it sounds good with this song, seeing as the low note he plays is a C, not a B, which is why he has the power chord on the 1st fret on his B string... so no, im not kidding, its easier that buying a 7-string, its the same thing playingwise

I see your point...7 strings are built to handle lower tunings (obviously) I used to do the same with my 6th string to down tune...but the guitar had troubles keeping the the guitar in tune...moreover...7 string guitars allow for heavier strings and a thicker sound

Theres no doubting that COW is a good guitarist, however when it comes to Fear Factory Dino seems to be a better writer for the band. His riffs are crushing but expand so that the music can be almost symbiotic with other forms: eg. electronic. I think that COW picked up on the Archetype album from where Dino left off as Archetype is more like Dinos stuff, while the new album: Trangression has it's only flavour and a flavour I don't really care for. I just think COW is not a match for FF. :)
