When I came to accept Santa didn't exist, I then too made the logical conjecture that God didn't exist. Apparently, believing in an omniscient, omnipotent mythological figure who judges mankind by their actions and rewards them accordingly is silly only if said figure is Santa Claus.
I became skeptical of this so called "Santa Claus" for a few reasons. I came to realize that my mother's handwriting was very similar to Santa's. I also wondered if this Santa had a key to our house or just had many counts of breaking and entering, because we did not have a chimney until 1.5 years ago.....Ok that was only 2.
When I was younger, I was a curious child. So I asked my parents how Santa got in, since we lived in an apartment and there wasn't a chimney. They then said that he comes through the balconey, so I asked how he gets in. They proceeded to say that we leave it unlocked and I exclaimed how dangerous that was. I woke up int he middle of the night and saw my dad eating the cookies, and in the morning, there was used wrapping paper and scissors by the tree. This was when I was about 5... =.=

I was in denial for a while. I figured out that my parents and Santa used the same wrapping paper. Instead of being skeptical, I thought it was awesome. Oh, to be young and naive.

its funny cause my "santa claus" never wrapped my presents. he just left the presents out under our chimney. i had older brothers so i figured that santa isnt real at like age 9 is 10. yeah so.....

My parents were strictly against Santa and made it clear that it about the birth of Christ. I never had a problem with this and my toys were just as awesome without Santa. However, my aunts, uncles, and cousins were not so happy with me proclaiming that Santa wasn't real. They'd get mad and yell at me about it but I stuck to my guns about it.

Oh good, it's you. The other neighborhood ThatZak is a real asshole.
When I came to accept Santa didn't exist, I then too made the logical conjecture that God didn't exist. Apparently, believing in an omniscient, omnipotent mythological figure who judges mankind by their actions and rewards them accordingly is silly only if said figure is Santa Claus.

I became skeptical of this so called "Santa Claus" for a few reasons. I came to realize that my mother's handwriting was very similar to Santa's. I also wondered if this Santa had a key to our house or just had many counts of breaking and entering, because we did not have a chimney until 1.5 years ago.....Ok that was only 2.

When I was younger, I was a curious child. So I asked my parents how Santa got in, since we lived in an apartment and there wasn't a chimney. They then said that he comes through the balconey, so I asked how he gets in. They proceeded to say that we leave it unlocked and I exclaimed how dangerous that was. I woke up int he middle of the night and saw my dad eating the cookies, and in the morning, there was used wrapping paper and scissors by the tree. This was when I was about 5... =.=
