Hi you 2. Got you from garyreef site, so I came 4 a look c. I doodle it just makes me feel so good. I went to an exhibition in London at the Whitechapel Gallery on Art Brut and that was where I first got into doodle art. I just love the repetition of the pen on paper.
Often I start with flowers and then do lines coming from the petals. Then I sometimes see shapes or things in the lines. Am I nuts I surely hope so 'cos I enjoy it!!
The 2nd one again... Whirling Dervishes meets Easter Island Statues, plus the eye-buzziness of the black and white reminds me of the visual aura I get when I start to get a migraine!!
The first one reminds me of the flowers of the Amaryllis plant and also muscles and zebras! (zebrae!)
The 2nd one is freshly laundered sheets billowing in the wind on a washing line/meets Italian Ice Cream Parlour meets Buddhist Temple and goes for a walk with Mary Quant in 1967! :-)
Can't think who DH is. Happy Birthday to you, Aquarius? Gene is thinking over the Obama idea. Yes, post those doodles. Infact we posted the orginal Doodle video in response to someone. Now I forget who! lol
Further to the previous comment, I wouldn't want this yellow one that the video has paused on. Mostly because it makes me dizzy, and I am di(t)zzy enough already! Hehe! The zebra landscape with a few colors would be just to order for me, though! Dang video locked up! AGH!
I doodle with root-like patterns. They are quite natural, but with these geometric lines of your's, Gene, that piece also has a natural sway to it. I LIKE!
Zebraville! in-out-in-out - GET A ROOM! LOL!
It is a landscape with sails. I love it! Are these on canvas? I would love to trade you one of my pieces for one of these! Preferably one with colors, as my house is pretty drab. Yes, very 3D - move your eye around, you will see it.
You have an dirty mind! lol He is standing right here and says hi and thanks for the feedback (a landscape with sails). He says that he is just drawing these on poster board now and is searching for just the right feel before he puts them in a more permanent form like canvas. Parting with his art has always been a delicate subject around here. lol Thanks for your comments. Happy New Year!
I like, but I've always liked your stuff. You should join our arts website, theartscollective(dot)ning(dot)com. Would love to see you showing more of your work.
Thanks Michael! Gene is standing right here while I type this. He told me to say hi and he will look into the site you recommended Have a great New Year!.
The site isn't big or anything but we've got a few artists involved, some of the artists who are joining are known in the Pennsylvania gallery circuit, if we can expand the reach and inspire, that's all to the better. :)

Sure does look like DH - in one of his cheekier moods! Hey! I am on the 9th! Aquarius RAWKS!
I would love to see Gene's version of Obama. He is a handsome mand, but I am sure Gene can find his quirks!
You just might have tempted me to post a vid on here about my doodling on my pots.
