I love your style of painting; should I say picturing such beautiful images. How would you categorize your painting if a genre had to be picked? Your love for the sea is quite impacting ;)
@VibrandoRaices Hello, thank you for the great question! I actually struggle with fitting into any preexisting genre of painting style so I really don't have a good reply for you. I think my latest paintings have more a feel of realism, and a sense of a romantic ideal. The painting above has been described as having a 'hot lighting' effect. I really want the viewer to be convinced of what they are looking at enough to be drawn into these painting.
@JaneKenoyer Thanks for replying. I understand your point of view. It's hard to let your hand strokes be categorized to make viewers and critics comfortable. Keep at it!
