i like the idea of kingdom hearts it just sucks that kh 1 + 2 came out on ps2 n birth by sleep came on psp coz i don't own either of those consoles! so i went into hmv a couple of weeks ago and found this game for the ds and i love it, roxas is awesome. i would by a ps2 just for the games but since i'm at uni and the only tv is in the common room it would be kinda stupid.

wow looking through all of these comments I've realized that in order to truly love this series you have to have been with it since the very beginning... Starting up playing this series now would just be a hassle since the games span over (soon to be) 4 different platforms. To everyone who'd like to which game to play first, Kingdom Hearts. The first. @jason854656 You forgot to mention Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep for the PSP. That game DEFINITELY pushed the PSP to its' limit. I mean, compare that game's graphics to one of the older PSP games like the first PSP Socom game. Holy shit. Birth By Sleep has DAMN reached the graphical capabilities of the PS2, and there's no other PSP game that is THAT good. They said Kingdom Hearts 3 is going to have even better graphics than Final Fantasy 13 has.

That thing was just amazing and its still gonna be a wild for kingdom hearts 3 which sucks. Theres been a new kigndom hearts every year since 09. And we just got re coded this year. 3D has been confirmed for next year, so hopefully we'll get 3 on 2013

@NancyDrewgal111 Well, you could always watch an online walkthrough or "Let's Play" of the games you can't play yourself and then when you get to a game you can actually complete yourself, play it. If you're looking to understand the whole story and timeline of the Kingdom Hearts series I would recommend going in this order:

-Kingdom Hearts 1

-Chain of Memories

-Kingdom Hearts 2

-358/2 Days

-Re:coded

-Birth by Sleep

All of the numbered games have been on main consoles so it's a pretty good guess. Think about it, all of the subtitles games (except for re:COM) have been on handhelds while the numbered ones haven't. I'm sure they'll have it on PS3. It's the only reasonable option. No KH game would be on the 360 and I pray to god it's not on the Wii. Though it may be on the Wii U..
