Watching the It Gets Better Project videos, I realised how lucky I am that I experience no bullying at all for who I am at my school. Wel, actually it made me realize it's wrong to call that "luck", but rather I'm surrounded by AMAZING people that I should be thankful to!
Thank you. Your message of hope will help those suicidal gay teens I try to help understand their significance understand their significance and give them hope.
thank god for all the" It Gets Better " videos for our young americans , but I must say that this one from those men is hands down is one of the most powerful messages in the campain. Thank you all very much........
"It’s absurd to divide people into good or bad. People are either charming or tedious" Oscar Wilde said this.... He probably thought afterwards....gay people like myself are of course always charming.
Oscar Wilde went to jail for being gay!!!! But let us remember his great work. He is just one example of many gay people who made a difference.
@canadaboy2008 I agree with sparksboi I live in Calgary and I've lived here for the last seventeen years, the last four years out to everyone from my family to friends to guys I have dated. It won't get better over night, it won't get better if you don't try to make your situation better and reach out to people and resources who can help you.
@canadaboy2008 - when you're old enough, move to Edmonton or Calgary, maybe for university or technical school. There are gay communities in both cities that you'll be able to connect with. Though it's never easy, it truly does get better.
i think it's so unfortunate that all of these people have been at one point a victim and a target for being gay. i'm excited for the day when that doesn't happen anymore.
hi i live in a small town in alberta canada and its pretty hard to live in this kind of community. i dont have any gay friends here cause even theres gay they are not outspoken to people that they are gays. im thankful for this video cause somehow i've got a friend in you. to all the people on this video thank you so much...
@canadaboy2008 You just killed my Canadian dream (My perfect husband and adopted Asian baby and my perfectly decorated house) I thought they were gay friendly in Canada :(
@kasra1992 They are, but like anywhere the small towns have a tendency to be less open to anything different then the larger cities. Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, any of the big cities and surrounding area are amazing places to live that are as gay-friendly as anywhere can be.
@FreyaDiamond Why do straight guys act so macho? And why does the average straight guy, like gay guys, look so weird? BTW, you NYCGMC members are hot, especially 0:38 silver haired cutie. From David, STLGMC.
This is a beautiful and astounding video that chronicles so many different faces and people who have all lived the same story... and lived to tell their stories! We are queer and we are fantastic! IT ABSOLUTELY GETS BETTER!!! LOVE YOU NYCGMC!

@cosmocasio Actually, that is the Keith Haring room at the NYC LGBT Community Center that used to be a restroom with his art work on the wall.
