Cute, but like the other comments say, cruel. Imagine how that parrot must have felt. Please, for the sake of the bird, don't allow this kind of behaviour to happen again.
I wish people wouldn't encourage this kind of thing. While very cute I admit... I lost the love of my life, Oskar the Eclectus parrot, to my chihuahua.... and I still, years later, cry sometimes. It's cute, and we trust our pets, but there is always always always NO way to know that some form of accident won't happen. Very cute tho'!

That could have been bad news for the bird... enzymes in a dog's saliva will kill most birds quickly.
