How do the Chaos Emeralds form Chaos' body parts? He (does Chaos really have a gender?) get arms and stuff, then a pelvis, and ribs, and suddenly with 1 more he becomes this giant Godzilla thing. I mean, the Emeralds can manipulate time and space, why does it take 2 to make a pelvic structure? Is it just a way to speed up the game to prevent having to face Chaos 2 and 4?

I laughed alot at Tail's crashing too, the light comedy in the Adventure tales is another thing that's been lost from the series since [imho, of course].

Oh and about the red / purple emerald mixup, it looked like the glass it was contained it was tinted red... So I believe it was purple all along, not a plot hole at all :-p
