Now what exactly is preventing you from doing this on a Bigsby besides going out of tune when you do the Bigsby-equivalent of a dive bomb. I'm currently deciding between a guitar with a floating vibrato and one I would want to put a B-5 on (I'm easily impressed by weird noises made on a guitar). Basically what I'm asking is, if I could find some way to not go out of tune when "Bigsby dive bombing", could I do these kinds of wacky sound effects (elephant, police car, and other weird stuff)?

My teacher taught me to take the b and g stings, twist them together and put the pick between them to keep them in place and pluck the two strings. Great with Hell's Bells.

You should mention that you probalby use drop tuning. It's not regular at least. I hear Eb and such things at tha harmonics all over the place.
