I see that Rinder is trying to make it in the freezone, personally I"d be wary of him and advise any body else also to be wary of him. Leopards don"t change their spots
My God this is very disturbing. He seems to have more heart, compassion and he's doing his best to take responsibility for what he did while in Scientology, then the others he mentioned that have also come out. However, as a Native American, its important to overcome and stand up against being one of the oppressed becoming an oppressor. Basically, turning on each other. Because I believe all of them were victims of this cult.
And Rathbun needs to understand that he can't point fingers at others and THEIR crimes while ignoring his own. Aaron is right. Rathbun whines about slapping of Miscavige when he himself did far worse things.
Have you watched Marty talk about his crimes? He knows what he did , but he also agrees there was only one person making the game and that was DM. He was a cog in the machine as well.
I saw Marty's videos. And what I saw is that he blames everything on DM but it wasn't DM alone. Rathbun needs to take responsibility for what he did. There are people who have questions that he can answer and there are people to who he had done a lot of harm. I don't see him apologizing for it, I don't see him doing something about it. There is a lot more to talk about that a few slappings. Rathbun doesn't care about HIS victims.
Just because he may not have brought them up, is not the same as not caring or not doing anything about it.
Think of all the ex-scilon who have left before the last 5 years and the crimes they have done and not said anything* at all.
He could very well be saying nothing and focusing totally on getting his life back on track.
I just don't see the point of bashin the guy because he speaks out about one issue versus another. I have no doubt he had more to say but the focus was not on those things.
I am not bashing anyone. I am just stating my opinion and my opinion is that it's not okay to blame others for what they did and not taking responsibility for own actions. If you are so sure that Rathbun is such a great guy and does the right things, I suggest you contact Gerry Armstrong who waits for a response from Marty.
I just think he's sincere and he's talking out, just because the video showed what it showed doesnt mean he didn't say more that wasn't on the final video.
If hes a great or bad guy, i have no idea. I just look \t him and see a sincere guy, maybe he isn't up to accepting what he's done, but his goal is against the current* abuses just as arrons is, i would rather see that done before ammends, as that is the bigger issue atm.

This guy puts hate on Marty Rathburn, yet he just explained that to question the status quo was reprehensible.
Both of them understand what it was like inside and outside, Aaron needs to understand he wasn't the only one living in a Robot-box.

He could? Well, maybe make sure if he does and tell me why he has a right to get his life "back on track" and his victims don't have the same right.
