  • Romney's the biggest puke there ever was. Ron Paul 2012

  • Total bunk. To find out the truth about Mitt Romney, go to WhyRomneydotcom.

  • America is going broke and I could not be happier. I hope Tucker gets sick and his health care provider refuses his claim on the same day his bank goes broke loosing all his money on the day his boyfreind leaves him for another asshole with a real tie, LOL Good bye America been nice knowing ya!

  • i bet you that romney is secretly in the closet

  • Speech maker ... and not accountable.

    Michigan is an example ...

"I'll be certain the auto industry will always be secure in Michigan."

"It's the fault of the people in Michigan the auto industry is in failure."

    The Romney approach ...

    "Save and Shame"

  • Mitt's a liberal - period. He's as conservative as Ahrnold.

  • "It's a shell game," said Julian Zelizer, professor of history and public affairs at Princeton University. "He (Mitt Romney) can still say he didn't raise taxes, but fees are taxes by another name. It's a trick."

  • A survey of states by the National Conference of State Legislatures found Massachusetts led the nation during Romney's first year, raising fees and fines by $501 million. New York was second with $367 million. Nine other states raised fees and fines by more than $100 million.

  • a survey states this

    please provide the link.

  • One thing is sure: All Republicans and conservative independants need to get behind WHOEVER wins the Republican nomination. Otherwise, we will have Clinton or Obama in the White House.

  • i will stay home if mc cain or romney are on the ballot

  • You're going to stay home just because your guy (whoever that is) didn't get the nomination? It's because of stubborn fools like you that we could very well have a Democratic president in less than a year.

  • I dunno... a lot of staunch conservatives say they, too, will stay home rather than allow their party to tack to the left. They'd rather put up with a Democrat in office for a few years if it means their party returns to its conservative roots. That's a legitimate political strategy.

  • That's a ridiculous strategy. You don't win by losing.

  • I guess it depends on how big the picture at which you're looking.

Have you not heard of strategic losses?

  • But if you choose a republican that is not very different than a democrat, what difference does it ultimately make?

  • Sounds like someone needs to call you a WAAAAAAAAHHHHHMMMBULANCE!

  • "i will stay home if mc cain or romney are on the ballot "

Look llike you're staying home, eh pissdrinker?

  • He is a an intelligent man of great integrity who may become our nations great uniter! He is offering his problem-solving skills and economic genius for the betterment of our nation. Romney will bring new vision, fresh ideas, high standards, energy and efficiency to Washington. The ONLY INTELLIGENT VOTE is a VOTE FOR ROMNEY

  • I'm sorry but this woman is full of it. I never seen such bias reporting. She doesn't even support her claims.

  • Mitt is a good man. I think he cares, and is smart man. But he has no issue that makes any difference -- all the gops are for less taxes. All are pro life. I dont see any compelling reason to go for him. Thompson has some good unique ideas -- Ron Paul too. Huck has is lunatic nonsense insane FairTax. But what make Romney unique?

  • The only ones highly taxed are the workers, and I wish someone would address this issue in the presidental campaign. Its sure not going to be the GOP, who want to put even MORE burden on wages, self employed, and small business.

  • And no kidding -- capital gains doesnt pay FICA. Nor does dividend income pay cap gains. Only work - earned incom -- pays the high income tax rates AND high FICA tax. Thats my complaint. Quit screwing workers self employed and small business with 300% higher taxes than cap gains and dividends.

  • I think it is significant to note that Romney never flip-flopped. Rather, he just flipped.

Unlike John Kerry--who was against, then for, then against again--Romney was for abortion, and then saw the light and became pro-life.

We all make mistakes, and we all change--nobody has lived their whole life believing all the same things since birth.

  • Rommney believes ONLY work should pay taxes. Work, under his plan -- would pay ALL the income taxes, and ALL the social security taxes. Those who make millions in cap gains, he would not tax at all. Zero. But the kid that delivers your paper would pay FICA taxes. And the kid that sackes your groceries would pay FICA and income taxes. GIS making 16,400 dollars a year pay income and FICA taxes and state income tax.

  • Let me relieve some ignorance. Currently, the only tax on capital gains are income taxes, so they don't help out pay for SS taxes. Nextly, those people who make millions in capital gains, if they have earned income, then they pay FICA taxes, just like the kid who sacks groceries.

Romney is just saying that there shouldn't be a federal income tax, which as nothing to do with FICA.

Lastly, if you make only $16,400 a year, you probably have a 0% average tax rate.

  • Nonesense moron - are you an idiot? First, you idiot, 16.4 does pay income tax and fica tax and state income tax. No, they dont get it all back. Second, its a myth that these cap gains already paid taxes. Plus, the self employed and small business had to pay taxes on money they used to get their business going -- so why should they pay 300% higher taxes?

  • you apparently don't know what an average tax rate is. second, you need to explain the myth you refer to. lastly, the comment about yhe self-employed and small business doesn't make any sense. could you elaborate?

  • I dont care what the average rate is -- a single person making 16.4K a year pays fed income taxes, FICA taxes, state income taxes, gas taxes, sales taxes, all kinds of taxes. Does this escape you? I bet it does.

  • It doesn't escape me, but you apparently want to stay in your ignorant, close minded state. If you want to keep being stupid, it is your choice. On the other hand, if you want learn the way things are and why certain people want to do certain things, then you have to learn about the way things are. The choice is yours.

  • I already know how things are dufus. Im telling you - you didnt even know working poor pay taxes. If you dont know that, what the hell do you know?

  • I never said the working poor don't pay taxes. I said people that make small amounts of money probably have a 0% average income tax rate.

I bet I know a lot more than you.

  • Rafussen, You know crapola. You could put all the crapola you know about tax rates on a cracker and still have room for your cheese wiz. People making as little as 16,000 can pay a lot of federal tax -- fed income tax, and FICA tax. Plus, they can pay state income tax, gas tax, sales tax, phone tax, whatever.

  • well everybody pays gas tax, sales tax, phone tax (which are consumption taxes) regardless of how much income you have. Everyone that earns money pays FICA taxes, but not necessarily an income tax. Last year I made thousands of dollars and didn't pay any federal or state income tax. So its true that they possibly pay income taxes, but a lot that make less amounts of income end up not paying an income tax.

  • Here is a clue dip wad. Go make 16,400, from wages, with no dependents, and assuming you arent blind, and do your taxes, you will pay federal income tax of about 400 dollars. My point you idiot is that working poor often pay a surprising amount of taxes, something many people are unaware of.

  • Well if you are single, with no dependents, making $16K and are considered the working poor then managing finances is not a strength for you. And, I don't think the taxes they pay is surprising at all. Lastly, thanks for the name calling--I can see that you are mature and educated.

  • Raf -- Im not single or no dependents. Im talking about the taxes I did of a guy that was in the USARMY as a cav scout, a couple years ago. He joined Army after 911. His strong suit was patriotism. This is about math you idiot, and how working poor pay federal income taxes and FICA taxes.

  • listen, you get out of high school, get a job, make about $20,000 - 15% goes to federal taxes and you get NOTHING back, so yes -normal people, poor working americans, pay in taxes.

  • you mean poor in relative terms then, right? cause normal people in america, i think, aren't poor.

plus, teenagers right out of high school is not a good example of an average american. people just out of high school are in completely different situations than most americans. additionally, i don't know what point you are trying to make with your comment--i am completely aware of the concept of income taxes and fica taxes, and how everyone who earns money has liabilities to pay them.

  • My point is, money is taken from 18 year olds who have began their first job. This money is then "redistributed" through tax credits and rebates to anyone meeting financial criteria comingled with dependant situations. So, an 18 year old start out pays for a 40 year old's 10 children and bad choices. THUS, bringing down the new guys chance to do it right, having to charge, borrow, and steal what he gave to support the others.

  • Yes, 18 year olds pay social security. But so did I when I was 18. Im 56. Everyone going into Soc Sec has paid. The problem is, they now use FICA taxes to pay all kinds of things, and be included in federal budget. The tax has doubled, again and again. The Soc Sec part isnt bad - the very high tax on work is bad. If all this extra stuff is so needed - let ALL income types pay it, not just work.

  • exactly the point. maybe all this extra stuff is not needed. which is why i don't think there should be tax, or at least not as much as it is, which includes not taxing all kinds of income, rather taxing the least kinds possible. instead of doing away with certain taxes, do away with certain "needs" of taxes. lastly, the idea of SS isn't bad, but the SS system is bad.

  • Romney is the least-worst candidate. He will get the job done; he is a pragmatist. And look at that hair ; the hair is great ; and the history of Presidential elections is really the history of hair ( or the lack of it)...Vote Romney ( or his hairdresser?)

  • Mitt, a millonaire Mormon, running for a position that pays a few hundred thousand a year? He's obviously out to screw the middle class and make his rich friends richer. Flip flopped on abortion and gun rights too. RON PAUL 2008!

  • No one cares what bowtie has to say. Watch him get owned by Jon Stewart.

    watch?v=aFQFB5YpDZE

  • You should post the information that he is an affiliate member, since in a Change interview he clearly states he is not a member and does not know what some of the things are.

  • Romney does not know the constitution as he clearly pointed out in the Mich debate. He does know his attornies!

    another flip for the flipper.

  • Ron Paul responded beautifully to Romney's "I'll consult attorneys, then go to war" remark.

  • "Both the United States and Saudi Arabia had indicated even before the war in Iraq ended that would benfit both sides if U.S.Forces--- left the country"--- Richard Murphy a senior CFR and U.S. Ambassador - 2005

    article.

Romney out of touch or a liar?

  • type "O" Richard Murphy quote is from 2003

  • MSNBC is hilarious. Funny how Romney is winning in IA, NH, MI, and SC out of all the GOP candidates. Raising taxes...the only thing they could pull up was some obscure tax on corporate subsidies...Not once did they mention any accomplishments like the Olympics, the PRIVATIZED health care for MA, decreased spending, job growth, etc. MSNBC is a joke, and it's obvious their political coverage is biased, and wrong...The GOP nominee will either be Romney or Giuliani.

  • wawbwc - Romney felt we still had bases in Saudi Arabia-- then says he never heard of CFR. No matter how one feels about CFR to say one has never heard of it! No wonder he felt (again out of touch) we had bases in Saudi Arabia.

  • Change in California interview Romney says he is not CFR. and never heard to other things.

    Could Romney be a LIAR?

  • Flip flops - by a politician?

    Say it isn't soooooo!!!!!!!

  • Romney is the definition of a sleazy politician who will say anything to be elected.

    Ron Paul in 2008.

  • Everyone that hears Republican Candidate Dr Ron Paul speak and knows his record will vote for him. He IS NOT a flip flopper and hasn't been for 30 years.

  • Oh but they say "he cant win" They always say "he makes alot of sense, but he cant win"............. now that makes no sense.

  • its so funny, but more sad at how fast people forget things like this. however many ignorant people voted for ROBney...I'm sorry...Romney in that iowa poll. did they not even realize that he could pull a bush and be like im for do this....and do THE EXACT OPPOSITE!

  • Lets all join the republican party and vote for good candidates in the primaries so that people like this guy don't get elected. I don't have to in Michigan since it's open-primary, but yeah, just putting that suggestion out.

  • Tucker is a fag, but he is right on this one. I am a strong Republican, but I will vote for Hillary if Ron Paul doesn't win the primaries!

  • I'll Fuckin Die if Hilary makes the white house. Or i'll move to Canada.

  • Ron Paul is an honest kook. He doesnt know history or economics. He thinks that the constitution is somehow magic and will work things out just fine. What a moron. SOmeone should tell this idiot that under his preciouis constitution, we had slavery, child labor, scab labor, sweat shop labor, wide spread poverty. It took huge efforts each time to remedy such evil things -- and morons like Ron Paul stood in the way of those corrections, each time waving the constitution.

  • The constitution is a living document, it is not that it is unalterable- but it should not be dismissed. To use executive powers to bypass it or for any senator, representative, military personnel, or any other person sworn to protect the constitution from both foreign and domestic threats is remiss in their duties, it erodes our system of government and the will of the people.

  • MArk, we have ALL of these things now. They aren't on our shores, but we have closed our eyes to the fact that we are keeping these practices alive in foreign countries by buying child labor products. BUT -sine it isn;t here, we aprove our system of fucking the world.

  • Ans -- Im not sure which post you are responding to, but yes, there is child labor, sweat shops, all kinds of crap going on in the world. Romney and his worship of profit isnt the answer. We need more labor rights, more common sense, more progress, not more worship of profit.

  • That's a fact. Worship of Profit isn't right. But, it's human nature. Only people who see the point of being nice will vote for someone who is genuinley nice. Most people, the majority of Americans, Are hell bound to "have something" that's what my comment is about. Most people don't care about anything but self gain. That's why we're screwed.

  • The main question here should be,,,Who can get the job accomplished, as President? Take the top four candidates; Alphabetical order 1) Rudy Giuliani, 2) John McCain, 3) Mitt Romney, 4 Fred Thompson and just for S & G let's throw-in 7-tie) Ron Paul.

Anyone want to take a stab at the question? And why that individual would be the best selection?

  • The only man sticking to principle is Ron Paul.

  • Yes, and don't get me wrong I like Ron Paul and agree with some of most of his thinking but I don't think eliminating the IRS is a rational or feasably sane thing to do. We all need to chip in and pay our taxes to contribute to the greater good. I hate anti tax Libertarians they're loons and they're wrong. But I agree with most of what they have to offer.

  • lokitoyz, please watch The Money Masters at video google. Then (hopfully) you'll understand why we not only we don't NEED an income tax, but how it is actually against our Constitution. Thank you.

  • yep, he sticks to his interpretation of the Constitution and his partisan views of everything. He doesn't work well nor compromise well with others...has a hard time playing with others.

  • Mitt appeals to everybody - because he says something everyone wants to hear. That's the beauty of the "flip-flop". I was at Iowa last week and flipper the dolphin was there to cheer him on. I am not kidding - check out some of Ron Paul's youtubes and you will see the Dolphin.

  • Another piece of human garbage unworthy of being president. I'm changing to the democratic party the Republicans look like the losers we used to think democrats were. God how lame my former party has become. Oh, well at least now the democrats have one more rich bastard like me to support them.

  • Lol! Yea I am a republican gone bi partisan, This administration has trashed the constitution, and I didnt even vote bush to begin with I voted gore then kerry, I knew bush would fuck my party.

    My ex-party I should say.

  • Yep, the neo-cons have taken over.

  • I think McCain was right. Mitt will say whatever it takes depending on the office he's running for. Very slippery. Forget these clowns and check out Ron Paul.

  • Guliani is beating Romney in fundraising...and not even having to write checks out of his own bank account to do it! Meanwhile, Ron Paul's beating John McCain in fundraising. LOL!

  • Yeah, and Ron Paul's not taking donations from big corporations either!

  • Romny is a flip flopping piece of garbage.

Go back to where you came from you piece of trash flip flopper.

  • MSNBC is a joke. It is a tool of the left. Mitt Romney is a solid candidate. People can change. I was a liberal 5 years ago and now am a conservative.

No one ever changes their minds do they?

    He is the best candidate.

  • do you think we need more government or less?

  • You should look into Ron Paul if you are a conservative. He is the most conservative person running.

  • I can understand your point driggslaw. I used to think ALL politicians were bought and paid for. Once I found out about Ron Paul, I flip-flopped.

  • I had no idea Romney had to stick to one issue and never change his mind. I'm sure none of us have ever changed our minds.

  • It's not one issue Romney flip-flopped on. Mitt flipped on 12 issues and counting.

Even in his own book he states people should not complain and pay taxes!

  • "It's not one time deal" MKB said as he flipped his flopper on me. MKB flipped on and on again -- 12 times with no effect, butt who's counting?

Even in his own mind, he states people should not complain about his floppiness!

  • ROMNEY IS A BITCH!! go have fun with your virgin wives on your own very special planet what a douche

    RON PAUL!

  • Ron Paul '08

  • His record here will not stand much scrutiny. Campaign claims he "turned around a Democratic state" are absurd. He did no such thing. He was an absentee landlord at best. He had the second worst jobs creation record of any governor and his health care plan had to be rescued by others. He left the state GOP dead in the water. [Boston Herald- 4/11/07]

  • Mitt Romney on going after Osama bin Laden:

"It's not worth moving heaven and earth spending billions of dollars just trying to catch one person." [AP 4/26/07]

  • MKB2814 on my back:

"Oh baby, open up baby. You're the man baby. Take me, take me to heaven."

  • oh his flopping too

  • romney haterzz..romney only flipped,not flopped..romney for president!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That's right this video is slander. A one sided story. There is nothing wrong with Mitt Romney winning as the next president--He is best for America. And there's an increasing number of people like him and will vote for him. Long Live Mitt Romney!! Let's vote for Mitt :)

  • Tucker flip-flopped on wearing a bow tie!!!

  • Funny that anyone would try to paint this fraud as a victim of bigotry. Now that is hypocrisy. It's like saying "you can't be prejudice against me....I was being prejudice against you first". And notice that all of the video's posted by Romney only allows comments of his supporters. Is this how we want our country to be run?

  • Tucker your great, this was not interesting.

  • Mitt has always been anti Varmint. So no flip flop on that topic.

If you don't like his position on something don't worry he'll change it soon.

  • This video is slander. Slander doesnt help, present facts and move on. I may be for Romney or may not, but this is just a newsreporter gay who found a contraversal story and is exploiting it.

  • lemmonball, are they lying though? did he not raise taxes, advocated pro choice, advocated pro gay rights, go for and against the NRA? these are all facts that you can check, man. I like him, but he has some problems.

  • Honestly i dont have a personal knowledge of what they are saying so i am going to have to take their word for it. But what they dont say is why he did that. Was it to increase his paycheck or to better fund schools. This reporter doesnt state any of that which is why i think this reporter has no credibility. The ends justify the means. If he had a good reason to do one thing then and another now, let him!

  • I agree, lemmonball. but if he flip flopped just to pender to whoever so he can get votes, then I have a problem with it. Again, you are right, especially on the tax issue, but what about the NRA and gay rights isssues? I have flip flopped alot on abortion personaly, so I can't say anythng about that.

  • Mitt Romney. He supported expanded access when campaigning for governor, but vetoed a bill expanding access, earlier this year. The bill then passed over his veto. Earlier this week, the governor sought to exempt Catholic and other private hospitals from having to offer 'morning after pills' to rape victims. Then yesterday, he reversed his position."_- WBUR Radio, Boston, 12/9/2005

  • "BOSTON — In boasting about his lifelong experience as a hunter, Mitt Romney may have shot himself in the foot.

The Republican presidential contender has told audiences on several occasions, most recently this week in gun-savvy _ and early voting _ New Hampshire, that he has been a longtime hunter. But it turns out he has been on only two hunting trips.

Critics said it was the latest example of a White House aspirant willing to say anything to reach the Oval Office."

  • There are plenty of people in Massachusetts who are more than ready to vote for Romney. If you don't think he's a gifted leader, than you are just plain stupid. I don't mean to offend you, but you really don't know what you're talking about.

  • Romney's a panderer and the only people in Massachussetts who would vote for his lying, pandering ass are those who are against gay marriage! The rest of us realize he was leading us all on to gain a platform from which to run for President! Republicans in MA are ashamed they voted for this fraud!

  • Massachusetts Lost Jobs on Romney Watch. Romney oversaw a net decrease of more than 3,000 jobs in Massachusetts. [BLS, Seasonally Adjusted Employment Statistics, 12/2002 - 10/2004]

  • The reality is that Romney is the right man for the job. He is a gifted leader and would get more done in the white house than any other candidate.

  • The reality is, Mitt Flopney is a panderer and about as credible as a used car salesman! Ask the people of Massachusetts whether or not they think he's a 'gifted' leader! He was so gifted that after nearly two decades of Republican governors, the people of MA said enough and elected a Democrat! What the hell are you smoking?

  • Oh and I'd like to know what Virginia is talking about, lol. That was the state legislature that raised business taxes by including a provision in Mitt's health care plan - he even vetoed the provision with the republican legislator's support (oh, and Virginia, 18 of the 19 state reps have endorsed Romney).

  • "The old Mitt promised "more effective leadership" toward "full equality" for gays and lesbians. The new Mitt is dining out on his opposition to gay marriage and adoption.

The old Mitt was in favor of embryonic stem cell research. The new Mitt is boasting of his leadership in the fight against "human cloning.""

    Ellen Goodman

FLIP FLOP, FLIP FLOP, FLIP FLOP! Flippity Mitt Flopney!

  • The 'old' mitt never supported gay marriage, in '94 it was irrelevant, and he specifically stated in '02 his opposition to it. The 'old' Mitt only stated he was in favor of embryonic reseaerch in an attempt to compromise with the legislature's bill allowing the cloning of human embryos.

  • These news casters don't seem to like romney very much.

  • This guy is a worthless douche.

    Flip Flopping liar.

  • Why are so many people so passionate about supporting this man? Reading the comments, I'm absolutely dumbfounded.

They wouldn't be able to regurgitate any of his talking points accurately because they change from day-to-day. Then again, seeing as he's taken just about every position possible on every conceivable issue, you could just make something up and verify it from one of his many interviews and quotations.

  • Go Mitt! I think you ARE the best man for the job. Find another candidate who could do better? I don't think there is one.

  • He'll do for the country what he did for Massachusetts! That means NEVER STAYING around to do the job, FLIP-FLOPPING on several issues, never running from a PHOTO OP, see an INCREASE IN UNEMPLOYMENT, leave behind a DEFECIT, and INSULTING THE USA.

  • He also raised taxes, and fees.

lied about gay rights and pro choice.

  • I certainly did. He also lied about gun control, immigration, education, security, technological advancement, and absentee leadership.

He left Massachusetts as a very unpopular figure, including a major portion of Conservatives there who saw his opportunism up close.

  • perhaps you'd like to explain "major portion" a little more clearly, 18 of the 19 republican representitives to the state house have endorsed him, and 2 of the 5 senators (senators have to keep bay over a larger amount of people, mind you).

  • Can you name those senators and representatives?

I also refer to the Boston Herald's editorial staff (a conservative newspaper) and registered Massachusetts Republicans. At least 30% were disappointed in him. Under Romney, there was a decline in police recruitment, cuts to education, and a higher than average unemployment rate. he also left behind a $1.3 billion defecit.

  • Oh, the mind when it's in denial, look them up my friend. (Elect Romney in 2008 - Announcements) By the way, 3 of the 4 republican sheriffs support him as well. Jobs were leaving the state when he took office; by the time he left, they were creating new ones. Each closing year of his term left the MA budget with a surplus, that deficit is Deval Patrick's claim of a forecasted deficit. Do your research (Wikipedia, Controversies while governor, last bullet, citation - link - article).

  • I did my research. It includes local newspapers, state reports, and studies performed by the Cato Institute. That is a tax-averse agency supporting free market principles which did not fond Romney' performance all that good.Representatives and Senators in MA was your claim, you refuse to cite them. As chairman of the NE Republican offices, he actually lost seats. A campaign website is not a viable reference point unless you are delusional.

  • Um, sir, the post included a PDF document of the letter. It's illegal to forge signatures. *note* after the Wikipedia below, there should have been "governorship of Mitt Romney", then Controversies. It's impossible to put links in these posts.

  • Actually, his Republican Leadership was so poor in MA he saw a drop in registered republicans and didn't have the courage to even put up a challenge in several districts. His successor, Kerry Healy only held about 30% of the vote, due largely in part to many registered Republicans dislike of Romney and his flip flops.

  • You're forgetting the Democratic wave that swept the nation even at the lowest offices in '06. You seem to have fun picking out the bad points of Romney's record, without stating the magnitude of the challenges he was facing or anything else. tutt tutt, I'd pick your own candidate and stick to defending or supporting him (or her).

  • I would also suggest reviewing the Boston Herald, a Conservative newspaper that found Mitt to be Shitt. The resources also cited for Romney's poor performance include local papers, state records (illegal to forge), and quotes from Conservatives. Then also refer to the Cato institutes assessment, 2004 and 2006. Not a very good review of Romney's economic strategies.

  • After refusing to endorse President Bush's tax cuts when he was governor, Romney has now made them a central part of his presidential campaign, stirring accusations that he is changing his position to appeal to GOP primary voters. In 2003, Romney stunned a roomful of congressmen by telling them that he would not publicly support Bush's tax cuts, which at the time formed the centerpiece of the president's domestic agenda. He even said he was open to a federal gas tax hike. (Boston Herald 2003)

  • During the four years of Romney's tenure, the number of registered Republicans in Massachusetts fell by 31,000. During that same period, the Massachusetts Democratic Party gained 30,000.

    - Boston Globe 11/2/2006

  • and? You're still not mentioning the Democratic wave that swept the nation. I'm warning you, you'd better knock it off - your just proving the threat everyone sees Romney is in defeating their candidate(s).

  • Mittkakis the flip-flopping candidate who wants to do more for liberals than Ted Kennedy?

Romney wasn't even brave enough to help out his own party in his mad rush for poltical opportunism.

  • He was a Republican running for office in MA, I think that was enough for the GOP there. ;)

  • I'm talking about 2006, the year he was out of state 212 days instead of doing his job.

That was also the year he hired illegal immigrants to cut his lawn while he claimed to be against it.

Romney has no conviction. No principles. Just shameless whoring for politics.

  • You're going to accuse him of knowing they were illegal? You're going to accuse him for not researching his lawn agencies to that he can bar his gates and stamp his feet on the lawn screaming for the company to change its policies? lol, ah yes, 2006, the year he co-chaired the National Governorship's Convention.

  • So while Mitt takes an anti-immigration stance for campaigning, you're OK with his hypocracy at home. Thank you for also reminding us about his distractions from doing the job he was elected to do to co-chair failure nationwide.

Romney could crap in your outmeal and you'd convince yourself it's a giant raisin.

  • hey everyone, when you watch these youtube clips look for FormerMALiberal. she works for the mitt campaign, acting like a regular person just offering her comments. don't believe it. ha, i give mitt's campaign credit for knowing how to use youtube.

  • Yeah, those guys might be (oh who are we kidding, they are) sleazy crooks, but they at least really comitted to manipulate public opinion.

  • This is the most biased news story I have ever seen.

  • Judaism Muslim I agree. And there's a lot of bias out there. But here's some info about endorsements the cable media wont tell: currently, Giuliani has 16, McCain has 94, and Romney has 171. I guess no Republicans like him.

  • Just the very desperate ones ready to accept an opportunistic flip-flopper with no principles or convictions.

There's some comparisons too between Muslims and Mormons: past polygamous practices, avoiding alcohol and caffiene, magical pants, and a subservient role for women.

  • mpetrie, thats what we need, a true convert to the pro-life cause, some people are getting pissed off about this callin him a flip-flopper (mostly disgruntled libs) but the fact is we WANT converts to our cause, we cant afford to alienate people on this issue.

  • Hey you "Mitt for Pres" "campaign commenters" (including you FormerMALiberal, what a joke you are), this report was truly revealing about the real mitt. and the reporter is a repbulican too, so refute that! he is a flip flopper and you campaigners who comment here are liars too.

  • personal beliefs have nothing to do with gov't. Wasn't your country based on escaping religous persecution?

  • of course it war, but republicans have managed to twist the constitution to fit there needs and whims, the founders are rolling in their graves right now

  • oops sorry, meant to say "of course it WAS" Its around 6 AM where I live and I have not had any sleep for 2 days.

  • Ronald Reagan also changed his beliefs regarding some issues just 1 YEAR prior to running for president and he overcame them and won the presidency. Mitt Romney is a good and competent leader. Mitt '08!

  • Reagan also had the courage to change parties as a symbol to match convictions. Reagan also didn't flip-flop on 10 key issues in less than 3 years.

Then Mitt flip-flops on Reagan too, considering himself "far away fro being Reagan-Bush Republican"
