One more point to my comment below If i had missed that steering cylinder problem during my safety inspection i would have been fired on the spot,Not only that but Trico Lift removed my lockout tag right in front of me.But i did provide OSHA a timelined of 14 calls to JLG on diffrent dates asking if it was safe for rent and every time absolutly not OSHA even has picture of the lockout tag on the lift before Trico Lift removed it.OSHA will not protect whistleblowers like us three from Trico Lift
My employer Trico Lift sent out on rent a five ton JLG scissor lift that i had just locked out unsafe where the steering cylinder was comining out of the retaining channel.JLG has a service bullitin out on this problem with an antirotation kit to repair this problem.JLG stated that the truck driver loading that lift was in danger.Trico Lift sent that lift into a Sunoco refinery and i provided Trico documentation they knowingly commited this.OSHA did nothing. One part of our whistleblower case
@Mikemc I partially agree, but an employers responsibility is to provide adequate training, and also it's not clear if wearing safety equipment is a policy that the company has in place or not. In Australia the employer would get prosecuted, all the way upto the directors of the business.

"What was I thinking, not wearing all my safety equipment?"
All these commercials are about operator error. The only fault on the company's side is hiring retarded people.

@Mikemc There are rules and regulations that the company has to follow. It is the companies fault, even if you don't think so.
