1/ Foreign media are usualy banned by the racist government, which tightly controls the media and what is or not allowed to be seen by the Japanese public (much like a soft version of North Korea). Thus NO foreign media AT ALL are granted access to official Japanese government press confrences and by extension, usually movie premiers, etc in Japan. This is because "foreigners ask (we Japanese) difficult (ie: journalistic) questions". Nothing "civilised" about that.
