I think the writers already had the stages set for the whole Otalia storyline set at this point. Didn't Natalia come to SF shortly thereafter in the summer?

I don't think they plan anything that far ahead. Natalia came along in the summer of 07 I think. The whole Jeffery mess pushed me away from the show about the time she came along. Daisy brought her to town, because Daisy was in love with Gus and wanted to split him from her mother (I think). He got in an accident and said Natalia's name while Daisy was in the room. Daisy found a Natalia in his old neighborhood in Chicago somehow. That all happened a year after this video.
