Its really bad when you thought it sucked as a kid...like this that Macaulay Culkin show,back to the furture, bill and ted. basically any cartoons based off movies. Just shows like trying to cash in on movies to video games the cartoon was just as bad with no creativity just slap together overnight to sell shit to kids...

I was dissing hammerman & my cousin remembers us (me & my bro) always talking shit about it in back when it was on and I told her about this cartoon and she remembered it, it was called 'Pro stars' the intro is in the related vids. I always say it's one thing to think something is shit in retrospect but when you always thought it was crap esp when you are a little kid...that is one crappy show.
When watching cartoon intros on Youtube, no matter WHAT year they were made, no matter how terrible they are, the top comment is always, "Man, this was the golden age of cartoons! These people really CARED about what they were doing, unlike today! Bring back _____!"
I'm sorry, but this is not a Saturday 'Mourning' Cartoon. This is a Saturday MORNING cartoon — the junk THESE days that kids watch are Saturday MOURNING cartoons. (Because everyone who remembers when cartoons used to actually be GOOD is MOURNING for them! Get it? :D)
Actually, I was mostly just making fun of a typo in the description of this video — but, now that you mention it, yeah. Most (not ALL, of course, but MOST) of the cartoons from the '80s and early- to mid-'90s were far better than the stuff that's on today. >.>
For example: the new 'TMNT' cartoon is okay, but it lacks a lot of the character that the old 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' cartoon had. Sure, it was corny — but it was more creative! It didn't just reuse the comic's stories.
The new one is certainly better in terms of animation quality, and the stories are (or, at the very least, were) much deeper than its predecessor's, but for some reason, when I watch the new one — it just seems more 'same old, same old', and more predictable than the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon.
Also: the theme song of the old T.M.N.T. cartoon is far, FAR better than that of 'TMNT'. :| Even the new TMNT GAMES aren't all that great compared to the old ones — but I blame KONAMI and Ubisoft for that, not the cartoon.
Granted, I've only actually PLAYED the GBA neo-TMNT games, but I've seen videos of some of the other ones (like Turtles in Time: Reshelled), and… they're just not as good in my opinion. :(
However, this is just MY personal opinion. I don't expect many to agree with me. :p
@KizulEmeraldfire it didn't re-use comic stories because it couldn't to keep its PG rating. i actually think the new series was handled much MUCH better, though it did at times feel restricted from going places the original comics did due to the overly graphic nature of the originals.
Also, most cartoons from the 90's are better than modern shows. The 80's were very VERY weak.

It's odd when the theme song for an animated comedy makes you laugh unintentionally. There's just something inherently funny about the phrase "magical shoes".

Was watching the 1991 Falcons/Redskins playoff game on YouTube and heard Verne Lundquist joke that the Falcons were going to listen to some Hammer music at halftime (referring to the Falcons adopting the "2 Legit to Quit" song as their theme).
I joked to myself after I heard that comment that (considering they lost) coach Jerry Glanville must have played this show's theme in the locker room.
