Incorrect. The game has a setting in it to only pay out a certain percentage of the time, similar to a slot machine. That # is determined by the owner. Even if you press the button at the correct time it will only pay 1/100-1/10,000 times depending on the setting. $0.50/game w/$50 major prize, game will be set lower than 1/100 so the owner makes money. i play stepmania, and am one of the best timers in the world (top 20). i can time an arrow into a corresponding arrow to 10 nanoseconds in accuracy 10 times in a row, on the same arrow. I dumped 30 dollars into this game one time, and didn't win once. 29 of the 30 times i got up to the top row, and 29 of 29 times i hit the top block perfectly, and watched it jump to the side every single time. the game is designed to win once every 800 times. so instead of dumping 70 dollars or whatever into it

try keeping track of how many times people play it. a friend of mine put a bug on a stacker at a local arcade. i won't say exactly what the bug is, but he would check it every week until it got to 790 games, then he would dump 30-40 bucks into it until he won a ps3, 360, $300 gift cards, etc. also side note, i think you're confused with nanoseconds and milliseconds. and i meant 1ms, not 10 nanoseconds rofl.

its the button press, not the frames. Theres a "pay out" that the arcade owner can adjust. if the rate of payout is high the frames dont change, the buttons responsiveness does, and you are more likely to win. if the rate of pay out is low, then when you press the button, the game is rigged to make the block skip a spot. jumping the gun is not an issue, the machine has been proven to be rigged. No math needed.

There's a part inside the machine that sets the payout rate on the machine. It was even proven in a video where they set the payout rate to it's highest and was able to win just my looking into a mirror.

Ok but when you actually PRESS the button what happens? Did you record that? Because I don't doubt that it shoots across at the same time when you are just leaving it, but when you press the button I bet it "screws up" and jumps to 1 of the 3 surrounding squares. I spent $9 once and played 9 games, all 9 times I reached the top and all 9 times I failed. Could be a massive fail on my part, or could be the way the machine is setup.

The machine is set by the owner depending on how big the major prizes are. Say, it'll let someone win the grand prize 1/100 times. regardless of how precise your timing is, you will always loose unless you're that 1 in 100 (or 1/1000 or 1/50. etc)

They wil only pay the top when when its took enough games since the last major prize. Takin smaller prizes will set it back a few credits just lik a fruit machine. If you can open the front door where you insert your credits you will C a %age counter n it will tell u how high its running. Hence near where I live they would tell locals when it was ready n it never cost anymore than £40 to win the mojor prize. This was back when major prizes where worth winnin now all ltd to max £50 value

Actually here's a little fun fact. Most stacker machines owners set an interval on the machine depending on how much cash the major prizes are worth. So it won't let you win on the last block until a certain amount of coins has been put in. So it could be one in two thousand. You just have to be the lucky one.

Not sure if it is the same with all machines, but ones that i have used, if you put the last square in slow motion it dims 1 square and lights the next . When it appears over your tower both are dim, so when you press it picks the one not over the tower
